I have a lot of battery tools, but like you my sander is corded and I think it is better since the power never drops.

Lol my corners look like octagons and my edges have random bowed areas. I suck at this. Not only that but the entire area look blotchy even though I sanded down to bare wood. I’m so lost. 😢

I find sanding all parts before assembling of what I'm building helps allot and makes it much easier.

When sanding an already installed, new door with an orbital sander, what is the safest way to enter the sander to the door’s surface? From the edge of the door face with the orbital already on? Or turning the orbital on to begin spinning while it’s already touching the door? Thanks!

I am building a table with a 50 inch tv set in it, 1/4 inch oak plywood is the major face and I've got 1x6 pine as the edge banding and was about to sand it flush and would've blown right through its face if I didn't watch this video. Thank you so much.

The only reason to sand ply is to 'denib ' it after applying finish. Stick to 400 grit only to avoid ruining your day.

A few more; making sure the Velcro doesn’t get stuck to the carpet. Making sure the pads are stuck correctly so you don’t get the black Velcro mark on your walks or wood!

I feel men should be required to take a wood, metal, and automotive shop classes once every ten years on a pass fail basis from age 16 up to age 60. I feel bad I barely have any woodworking and no metal working skills.

We drove 1.5 hours to buy a bargain $15 coffee table and my wife was so excited to refinish it, and after stripping the old finish and putting in hours of work I sanded right through the wood veneer. I’m so upset.

🤣🤣 the real problem is plywood is cheapest nasty usually the slithers of shite and sawdust pressed then laminited together as a joiner avoid using plywood at all cost, remember you get what you pay for by crap work wee crap👍

Never skip grits. 80. 100. 120. 180. 220. 320 if you want. It's tate for me.
