Thank you
Love the humour too
Powerful tool!
ОтветитьDamn... I'm just a beginner and have made all of these mistakes.
ОтветитьI have a lot of battery tools, but like you my sander is corded and I think it is better since the power never drops.
ОтветитьSuch a good video, thanks 😊
ОтветитьLol my corners look like octagons and my edges have random bowed areas. I suck at this. Not only that but the entire area look blotchy even though I sanded down to bare wood. I’m so lost. 😢
ОтветитьHi Steve, love you're informative vids a lot. Question: i want ot buy a sander. Which sander removes huge amounts of material with the correct sanding sheet fast. An orbital sander or the square sander. Hope to hear from you soon. many thanks in advance
Ответитьis that a ouijia board in the background? lol
ОтветитьBoy I'm a fart smella...a mere 2 seconds before he used blue tape to protect the plywood surface I thought to myself, self, use masking tape.
ОтветитьTrying to summon some ghosts in that shop huh? Can’t do the ouija boards
ОтветитьWhat ROS (random orbital sander) do you recommend?
ОтветитьI find sanding all parts before assembling of what I'm building helps allot and makes it much easier.
ОтветитьWhen sanding an already installed, new door with an orbital sander, what is the safest way to enter the sander to the door’s surface? From the edge of the door face with the orbital already on? Or turning the orbital on to begin spinning while it’s already touching the door? Thanks!
ОтветитьWhy is there an Ouija board in the background? I'd throw that out.
ОтветитьWhy not sand before assembly?
ОтветитьWhy its called random orbit?
Ответитьwhy have you got a ouija board?? you weirdo
ОтветитьWhat model of Dewalt sander is in the video?
ОтветитьGreat advice 👍
ОтветитьThe most boring task in the shop
ОтветитьNice tips, I will keep them in mind for my DIY projects
ОтветитьI am building a table with a 50 inch tv set in it, 1/4 inch oak plywood is the major face and I've got 1x6 pine as the edge banding and was about to sand it flush and would've blown right through its face if I didn't watch this video. Thank you so much.
ОтветитьThat quija bothers me but I learned a lot
ОтветитьVery Very Helpful
Ответитьsuperb
ОтветитьThe only reason to sand ply is to 'denib ' it after applying finish. Stick to 400 grit only to avoid ruining your day.
ОтветитьDid anyone else cringe in pain when they saw the bottom of that dewalt sander? That paper Should’ve been changed long ago
ОтветитьWhy do you have a ouija board and a machete hanging up in your workshop?
ОтветитьThanks so much for your video. I especially liked the idea of attaching some sanding paper to a paint stick. I’m 68 and just started woodworking. Looking forward to viewing more of your videos. Cheers!
ОтветитьA few more; making sure the Velcro doesn’t get stuck to the carpet. Making sure the pads are stuck correctly so you don’t get the black Velcro mark on your walks or wood!
ОтветитьWhere have you hidden your cameras in my shop. I have done every one of these SNAFUs.
ОтветитьI never thought of gluing sandpaper to my paint sticks. Thank you sir!
ОтветитьI'd get rid of that Ouija board if i were you! Probably why your sanding's not up to scratch!
ОтветитьWhy is there a ouija board in the back?
ОтветитьLove the video. You really fucked up that box though, didn't you? Lol
ОтветитьGreat tips!
Well done!
Excellent. Very helpful tips thanks.
ОтветитьI feel men should be required to take a wood, metal, and automotive shop classes once every ten years on a pass fail basis from age 16 up to age 60. I feel bad I barely have any woodworking and no metal working skills.
ОтветитьWe drove 1.5 hours to buy a bargain $15 coffee table and my wife was so excited to refinish it, and after stripping the old finish and putting in hours of work I sanded right through the wood veneer. I’m so upset.
ОтветитьHow about sanding some parts before assembly such as drawer bottoms and the like?
ОтветитьDo you ever use a belt sander?
ОтветитьShould I buy a 5 or 6" sander first?
ОтветитьIs it worth getting both orbital and sheet sander? And do I need a sheet sander ID I have a detail sander?
ОтветитьOuija board ayyee you asking for trouble 😂
Ответить🤣🤣 the real problem is plywood is cheapest nasty usually the slithers of shite and sawdust pressed then laminited together as a joiner avoid using plywood at all cost, remember you get what you pay for by crap work wee crap👍
ОтветитьNever skip grits. 80. 100. 120. 180. 220. 320 if you want. It's tate for me.
ОтветитьGreat advice!
ОтветитьSanding mistake #1: having a ouija board in the shop
ОтветитьThe one in the thumbnail is the reason I am on my 3rd velcro pad for my Makita 😁
I also found out that the Chinese knockoffs hold sanding paper much much better than the original..
At 1/10 the cost
