Then hitched rides on asteroids and eventually found earths solar system. My other guess, is that he’s an exile, for being weak. Other animals do it in nature. They pick on the weak, then eventually kill or exile them. And Ghidorah obviously got more radiation/electricity after his exile.

I have a theory that says Ghidorah once only had one single head and one tail but a prior altercation between Godzilla shimo and other Titans of ancient when they fought previously I think Godzilla managed to traditionally fire is atomic breath down gadora's throat originally splitting his neck spine and tail into multiple pieces causing gidorah to grow back and adapt extra heads and two tails.
