That saw has a lot of power. And the laser guide is really nice. At my age those pencil lines get hard to see, but that laser sure helps to keep you lined up. I wonder if the battery is supposed to click in place? Maybe a little clip broke off somewhere?

Do Not buy anything from this company!!! I bought this drill and the
second time I used it, it stopped working. They are a e-company. They
don't have a phone number to reach them. I have tried for 9 months for
them to honor my warranty which is valid and they do not return my
emails I proved my drill was broken and that doesn't matter.They tell
you your refund will be sent to your paypal acct. I've been waiting 9
months for that to happen. It's 100% BS. They got me for $107 .99
