Get More Mileage Out of Your Sandpaper With This Hack

I use so much sandpaper it's crazy. Generally when I'm prepping my edges I go through 220, 320, 400, 600, 800 grits. If I'm going for a glass edge, I go further into sandpaper grits, using 1000, 1500, 2000, 3000, 3200, 3400, 4000, 6000, 8000, 10000, 12000.

Anyway, I buy packs of sandpaper from Amazon. It's the cheapest place to get them. I fold the different grits into squares and just binder clip them together in order. You definitely don't need to use the gum sole every time, but once your sandpaper gets bunged up, a quick rub on the gum takes those leather bits right out. It makes it almost as good as new.
