Idk what the dealnis, but this video has no sound for me? Ive watched several videos, clicked in this one and silent? But, reading through the comments, the sound worked at one time.
Government doesn't want me to know I guess 😂😢😂
What soil do you use to avoid fungus gnats?
ОтветитьBest way to get rid of gnats living in your soil in the larval stage before they become airborne is to use beneficial nematodes, a tbsp of neem a tbsp of soap shaken up with 4litres of water takes care of all the other pests and is alot cheaper than those sprays
ОтветитьOk I am doing some tomatoes, in 5 gal. buckets. Keep trimming the lower branches to not overdo it. My problem is the little bugs. Any suggestions.
ОтветитьFungus mats plagued my kitchen and no spray would eliminate them ,finally I bough a small green anole from the pet store ,she clean up all those pests and then I had to buy crickets to feed her till spring.
Ответитьgreat advice
ОтветитьI just bought everything to grow salad through the winter indoors. I found a 6pack of window pots. I got all dwarf seeds. I'm going to try dwarf tomato dwarf cucumber bell pepper and lettuce and Swiss chard and spinach maybe some bush beans. I have 3 southern facing windows and may have to add some grow lights. Diluted hydrogen peroxide works great to kill off fungus knats and the plants love it.
ОтветитьThanks for sharing the garden tips on growing herbs in your kitchen also tomatoes I will try some thanks for sharing my friend let us keep planting
ОтветитьI don’t know why nobody mentions this but I tried growing chili pepper and Thai basil indoor with grow lights and they are so healthy BUT THEY DON’T TASTE LIKE ANYTHING lol 😂. The 🌶 isn’t spicy, the basil isn’t flavorful it’s just dull . Like I said the plants all look fabulously green and bushy! Which is why I was so surprised! I guess the sun has magic to awaken flavors in veggies
ОтветитьMy Lilikoi (aka passion fruit) is going crazy right now with lots of fruit ripening. One of my favorite ways to eat it is to make Lilikoi Bars, I just use a Lemon Bar recipe and substitute the lilikoi juice…yum!
Ответить😊😊😊
ОтветитьLove this video. I’ve started my tiny Tim’s indoor for the first time 🤞🏼
ОтветитьSuper helpful video👌
ОтветитьI’ve grown indoors in the past and am anxious to try a winter garden of some type indoors. Just watched your salsa verde video and want to make that soon. I still have tomatillos in garden ( planted a fall crop a little late). Thanks for all your great tips. 💕from Ky.
ОтветитьHI, CaliKim! I brought home a gorgeous REAL white sweet potato this summer from Idaho. I let it sprout and then grow roots. My question is: Can I grow these splits now (mid October) in SoCal (south Riverside)? And if so, what is the best course of action.... indoors? outdoors protected growboxes? In the dirt? Other? THANK YOU!!!!
Ответитьlovely video
ОтветитьHow do your tomatoes get pollinated when indoors?
ОтветитьMac is the best! I like his little neckerchief, Kim!
ОтветитьOne thing that I really enjoyed growing last winter was radishes. I would harvest and eat one every day, my daily dose of fresh pick and eat vegetable.
ОтветитьLove the setup! I have a fungus gnat flying around me as you’re talking about them 🤣🙌🏼. I’ve tried a few different tomato plants for indoors (patio style) but I keep getting white leaf mold 🤨. I think I’ll try those Tiny Tim’s! Then stick to lettuce, maybe kale and herbs. It’s hard to let go of the garden this time of year but luckily in MA we have had an usually warm Fall! Best of luck with your indoor garden 💚
ОтветитьThank you !
ОтветитьHey there, thank you for this. I am going to be putting seeds in the soil today in my basement container garden. Do you have links for your smart pot drip trays? Sometimes it looks like you have those under a smart pot or two, and others you don't have. That's one thing that took me a while to find, and they still don't fit properly. Big hugs, thank you for doing what you do!
ОтветитьThanks for sharing this video!!!
ОтветитьNice video, good info, and inspirational. I see videos like these and they always make me say, "I Can Do This!" If anyone is looking for another great channel, check out The Veggie Boys! They are so entertaining and their produce is amazing!
ОтветитьGreat video CaliKim. I tried that before, and it's great. You are doing good.
ОтветитьThanks, Kim! Great, concise info. I’m planning on planting micro greens and may bring in some TT tomatoes. They’re already fruiting. Will they not do well if I bring them in from outside?
ОтветитьThe gallon smart pots are cute. I'm looking to order some soon. Mac is so cute. Looks right at the camera. Always camera ready 🐶🐕
ОтветитьIf you sprinkle cinnamon on the soil the fungus gnats also disappear.
ОтветитьWe love growing vegetables indoor during the winter! Here is zone 5 Wisconsin it is the perfect pass time activity for our family. Thanks for sharing.
ОтветитьWinter in SoCal is a joke. Go to Kentucky or Virginia and get back to me. Lol
ОтветитьI'm in love with your dog. Im in Atlanta but I don't get ANY sun in the fall/winter so indoor gardening information is super helpful
ОтветитьSuper helpful video. Trying my hand at hydroponics this year, let's see how it goes! Love sweet Mac, he's getting a bit older and slower, isn't he (guess it happens to all of us!). Hugs,Mac!!
ОтветитьI have my fall garden growing right now I have some radishes beets broccoli cabbage parsley cilantro Dill nasturtiums
ОтветитьI usually just do sprouts in the winter time, but now I'm encouraged to try and expand my indoor gardening. Thanks for another great video.
ОтветитьI got my smartpots i got my soil and peet moss and tomorrow i plan to start planting my lettuce carrots and beets :) i wish there was a way to send you pics of my garden :) thanks for inspiration
ОтветитьYup. Got down to 24° here in N. Eastern Oregon. My runner bean plant is toast. I brought a bunch of plants indoors, so I'll still have some harvest hopefully.
ОтветитьThanks Cali Kim! I was just starting to think about winter growing 😊
ОтветитьThank you. I'm the 4th-floor gardener in Dallas. I have everything you said. I'm going to keep my peppers going.
