Ответить3sgte is like a 4age ..if you got deep pockets and you do alot of head work and i mean heavy porting and bigger cams valves ect...it can flow just like a honda head and make good power on not so much boost .so it's not always necessary to go Kseries unless parts are becoming rare.. in my case it's slowly is and Kseries is an option. But nice to see original engine in the car

ОтветитьWoulda liked to have seen a crazy 5sgte build since the bottom end is so tough. Also the larger displacement helps with spooling the turbo.

Ответитьas far as I know the 3s block is very bad. the quality of the material, casting, and in general there are a lot of improvements to squeeze out at least 500 hp from it.

My Rev 2 turbo will always feature a 3S-GTE. It currently has a forged, Rev 3. These engines and cars are so underrated.

ОтветитьIts a shame that there is not enough gear heads that do not like doing much of anything with the 3sgte or even care to give it the attention it deserves, i mean this was the same motor that out paced the jgtc penzoil r34 whiched housed the iconic rb26dett and won. It makes me very sad that this engine is underrated or just ignored most of the time.

stock 5s head 26 psi? do we have any more confirmation on that. Apparently the 5sfe was under developed intentionally in half and half of the engines received upgrades from the factory, is this true.... if I walked an ecoboost mustang to 40 mph 3+ car lengths at 15-25 throttle that must mean I have some power
