I just realized how is this gonna affect the companies in pc industry that makes the hardware components (keyboards, monitors, mouse, cpu, ram, gpu, etc.)? You won’t need to spend hundreds to thousand of dollars into a pc setup for online competitiveness when you can just buy a DMA. There really is no point on upgrading if everyone is literally at the same skill level if they are using the DMA. These major companies could go down hill if they don’t respond to this situation as well.

The fact that online game cheats are a mult-million dollar INDUSTRY is why I've given up on multiplayer gaming. As far as I'm concerned EVERYONE that makes money from gaming as a streamer/"content creator"/pro are ALLLLL cheating because it's about money. Money corrupts EVERYTHING and people will do ANYTHING for money, morals are extinct.

if software cheats can be detected so well that it requires cheaters to spend thousands of dollars to cheat, then I see it as a win because 99% of players don't have the capacity to pay that much.

Cheaters never prosper. The fact that there are people using these cheats to defraud thousands of people to get them to donate money. That is beyond scummy, and they deserve capital punishment. I said it before, I'll say it again. The platforms are just as guilty for allowing it to happen and not taking a more proactive approach. This is why it won't change. Until the platforms take an active role and purge all the cheaters, it will continue to be a problem. My question is, what does cheating in pubs do? Besides, make you an asshat for ruining everyone's game?

i stopped playing competitive FPS games..its pointless now. I used to love to grind and be the best but its over. Its not fun anymore knowing this level of cheating exists

Nothing will Change when Players dont stop to play the game and when People dont stop to Pay for the Skins. I stop to Play COD now because i didnt have fun because of the Cheaters. Only way to counter this is for the person to show you their set up, but they can show you it once and simply plug it in again. There's an older situation thay happened about DMA in Tarkov and the only way people found out was because his device wasn't disguised as another device and he also took a picture of his PC showing the DMA device.

I've said this b4 that these guys are using some type undetected cheats and that's why moat them run duel pcs because the 2nd pc hides it or something along these lines

I have been a COD console player for years now and only since MW I started seeing cheaters in lobbies, since the start of this cross play nonsence.

Wellll Guess what, it seems all $$$% competitions will need to be held in person. And not bring your own hardware. You just show up, and get to sit down at a computer and thats it. No loading files, no nothing. Just only able to use your skills. Like they used to do competitions, before streaming.

If was the ceo of a triple a game company I would offer people who make hacks or cheats for games an absurd amount of money to send the list of people who have bought cheats or hacks then hardware ban them if I could find them or offer them a job creating an anti cheats that would detect them

The hack seller Onyx Chronixx was talking about DMA on tiktok 2 months ago. This is just heartbreaking and explains why they all have identical play. COD caters to their cheating streamers and that is just insane. As a publicity traded company stock holders should sell fast and maybe even file suit against Activision for tanking the game on purpose

If you still play cod and don’t cheat just stop there’s a whole library of better quality games out there. This game will never be fixed till it’s boycotted.

The cdl uses cdl pcs for lan events so its impossible to chear on tournaments and cheating in thier at home stuff would just be stupid

I really wish they would remove pc from crossplay. Not saying all pc players cheat but all cheaters are on PC. We pay the same price for the game. Same monthly subscriptions and console players just get farmed by pc players. I know get a PC right? I shouldn’t have to. I’ve been gaming for almost 40 years and the past 4 years of crossplay against PC is the worst gaming I’ve experienced. Multiplayer games aren’t enjoyable anymore

Simple solution, tournaments involving money should be strictly ps5 or Xbox, no PCs allowed

Why cant they just have software run a comparison of the controller or mouse input vs the output of the crosshairs on the screen. If it doesnt match what is expected, its a hit.
