Ok
ОтветитьHave you considered testing thermal cameras? Fluke, flir, Klein tools, etc
ОтветитьI use a UNI-T UT300S Infrared Thermometer, surprised you didnt check that out as a Fluke competitor from aliexpress/overseas :)
Ответитьfinally have a little time to get caught up on your videos. Great test!
ОтветитьCould you add one more test that measures responsiveness while continually measuring? I use these measure surface temperature on race tires and brake rotors. It's quick and dirty, but useful for spotting issues quickly.
ОтветитьThanks for measuring. It’s nice to see what to spend money on.
ОтветитьThanks
Ответитьyahhhhhhh finely
ОтветитьMy Fluke 62 MAX only cost $117 in April 2017. I liked it so much I bought one for each of my 14 maintenance crews. Every single one still works and is still dead nuts accurate 6 years later.
ОтветитьToo bad the Vevor IR05 is no longer manufactured (I could not find it using the Chinazon link in the description nor could I find it on Al Gore’s Amazing Internet to include FleaBay). I want to buy a cheaper IR gun for my wife who keeps stealing my Fluke 62 MAX off of my service truck to check the temp on her wax machine so she does not burn her delicate parts).
ОтветитьVery well done! I wish you also tested UNI-T
ОтветитьI pulled my decade+(?) old HF IR thermometer out yesterday and the LCD screen is going wonky. The first thing I did was Google "non-contact thermometers Project Farm." BOOM! Thanks, Todd! Using your link to buy a new one!
ОтветитьNone of them are accurate if you're trying to read the temperature of something less than about a foot across. The laser has nothing to do with how they work. It's just a gimmick. The area they measure is WAY bigger than the laser. If half that area is way hotter than the other half, the reading will be somewhere in-between.
ОтветитьI have had two thermometers and both have worked for about 2 minutes of use before the batteries die.
ОтветитьI bought the T600 a few months ago for only 5 bucks I think.
I always wonder how accurate the thing is, as it seemed to me that it’s quite accurate. Now I’ve got the confirmation! This little thing was a steal!
30 years ago, my company purchased a 7-digit gun for about $900. They told me to go play with it and learn what I could. After about an hour of boredom, using only 3 digits, I sought out a challenge. I aimed it at the SUN.
'8888888' was the reading. It was locked and wouldn't move till I pulled out the 5 - C batteries.
Either way, the Sun's temperature is greatly exaggerated🤪.
Thanx for showing the inside of the load switch. No electrical-mechanical relays. Interesting.
Ответитьwhy in the world does the Milwaukee not take / use the 12v battery system?
ОтветитьT600 crew represent! w00t w00t
ОтветитьDamn stupid no chinese companies, none of those brands seem to exist here in Italy despite them probably being the same stuff sold here under other names, why can't they realize it's dumb?
Ответитьwould love a thermal camera video!
ОтветитьPlease review human, medical grade IR thermometers.
Then I could buy a reliable one without spending $100.
Thermal cameras please!
Ответитьwhy is the weight important?
ОтветитьI know it would be expensive, but would you review thermal imagers? There's a lot of competition being made out there and I was wondering how good some of the lesser expensive ones are at detecting minute temperature differences and update speed.
ОтветитьLOL I want the $9 meter you tested... Specifically the very one you had in your hand.
Very impressive result but I have a feeling (not guaranteed correct) that the very low price probably comes with a very wide margin of consistency from one device to the next on its way through the assembly. You got lucky with the one that got made on a good day, after a good lunch break... after some kind of good news hit the factory floor.
Just my opinion obviously but I think QC is expensive.
Wow the Milwaukee is junk . I was going to contact Milwaukee to get the +- accuracy. The Kizen look worth I shot
ОтветитьGood review . Milwaukee makes 3 of them. I was going to call Milwaukee to find out the accuracy of the 3. Testing just box store brands might help . You’re at the store and don’t know what’s best .
Ответить@ProjectFarm, did you mean to count Temperature Gun Measurement Speed twice in your averages? I noticed you didn't include the Cumulative Error portion of the video as a column; perhaps that is related?
ОтветитьTest Idea: Thermal cameras.
ОтветитьHonest question. What does it mean that the thermometer has an accuracy of ±1.5%? What's the baseline?
Clearly can't be the 0°, because all these can measure both °F and °C, and 0°F is not the same as 0°C, suggesting that if 0 was the baseline, the thermometer would need to "choose" a different error based on selected units... so it has to be something else.
T600a you can get for 5$ from aliexpress, can’t beat this
ОтветитьWow, I wish I had watched this before I ordered one.
ОтветитьVery good !
ОтветитьYou should do best digital meat thermometers
ОтветитьCould you please include Parkside products in your tests? It is sold in Lidl shops and quite popular in Europe (mainly for the price). I don't know if you have Lidl there though. Thanks! :)
Ответитьfluke
ОтветитьOnly bats and some dogs can hear this squeaky narration.
ОтветитьI wish you would have tried different distances
ОтветитьWould have been interesting to see if they held up to their high and low range temperature readings.
Excellent tests !! ❤❤❤
It's the accuracy based on distance? Or is that for laser distance meters
Ответить-58 to 1472 we are going to test that!
ОтветитьBe awesome to see how 10 different units of the same t600 compare, maybe you got lucky with a good one
ОтветитьI wonder if it would be more useful to identify the manufacturers rather than the brand names.
Ответитьthere is a NJTY T600 with adjustable emissivity, i bought it today for kitchen use
ОтветитьFYI. I just checked and amazon now has a version of the T600 with emissivity setting for 9.99. Adding to cart for those times when my wife is extra mad at me so take her temperature and help her to know when it's time to cool off.
ОтветитьVery Impressive :-)
