I've been watching your work for YEARS and visited, eaten and bought so many things you've recommended. I watch your videos and make lists on my bedside notepad and drop pins onto the personal holiday googlemaps I've made. You've been SPOT ON with 99% of the things you suggest and rave about with the exception of Fuunji in Shinjuku. It's without a doubt the worst ramen joint I've ever been too. I do NOT recommend it to anybody. Just thought I'd mention it as it's a horribly overrated ramen bar which foreigners are misled into visiting-- it's not a good first experience for those excited to try ramen and the ramen restaurant experience in Japan. Avoid for multiple good reasons, food being only one of them.

My wife and I went to a Ramen restaurant and every darn bowl was served with a fish cake! We fing hate fish cakes!
