uk law around Ebikes sucks donkey dick!!! ive got a 750W Bafang thing i built myself. im 21 stone and i can get 37mph outta it. (down hill like but still) cruises at about 25mph. love it and the battery lasts 2.5 trips to work.

When you get the delivery fees pop up on your various apps, is that what the punters paying, or is it a mixture of punter / restaurant? I’m assuming it goes up and down with demand levels?

Bro I Doordash in a Prius north of Los Angeles where avg distance is 5+ miles. I do see a lot of scooters and e-bikes in downtown LA. You ought to visit here and try food delivery it’s crazy!

As a customer, I've had a few bad experiences with deliveries from takeaways, longer than expected delivery times, damaged or missing food, their indifference is culpable.

What happens if you have an alcohol delivery and the person doesn't have I.D.? I'm assuming if food is undeliverable (no answer, wrong address, etc.) you can just bin it, give it away, or scran it yourself if you're hungry, but what if you're unable to deliver alcohol? Just goes back to the shop?

Uber as a business model is failing its customers and workers. Surge charging taxis during what is very difficult moments like rail strikes, phone battery dieing and even terrorist attacks shows this. I well and truly hope they go under.

The law about speed is same in Croatia, you can use any kind of e-bike, for example my e-bike for doing deliveries is going 45 km/h (30mp/h?)
