I just got one, its a great bike, but is this a paid add ?
ОтветитьWell done review, that really helps my decision. Thx dude!
ОтветитьYeah man!! I just got the 2023 Levo Turbo Comp Carbon - 6k. Couldn’t resist. I love it! I’m 57 - I can’t see me riding it all the time - If I ride 5 times a week, I may take it out once - I don’t feel I get the same ‘suffering / fitness” from it - it it’s good to use as a recovery ride or an adventure ride. My Treks 9.8 Slash and Top fuel are my go to. 😊. Who knows, maybe in the years to come I’ll be riding the e-bike more than much analogue - 👍 I hope not, because that may mean I’m getting fatter and out of shape. 😆
ОтветитьYou said night and day compared to the 2021 model. Are there any concerns I should have with the port cover? Any advice regarding the 2021 models?
I'm a noob MTB rider and I currently have a hardtail. Diamondback Sync'r carbon similar to Bermpeak's
$10,000working man’s E bike lol
ОтветитьWhat's the difference when you go up the models? I've ordered a turbo levo alloy I'm waiting on but I was curious on what the main differences are as you go up the range
ОтветитьDid you ever tried an assistance mode based on your heart rate? Is it cool and useful?
ОтветитьI just racked up 4500 miles on my bike. Then I had to rebuild the motor, replaced all the bearings in my rear hub, installed a new cassette, new chain, new front chain ring, new tires, new valve stem. Back on the road $1600 later! And before that I upgraded my suspension to coil front and back and built my own wheels and upgraded my brake rotors. The bike is an absolute blast but if you ride them hard they are effing money pits!
ОтветитьThoughts on cannonade carbon 2 vs the Turbo Levo COMP
ОтветитьHey bro . I’m 5’7” smaller dude . I used a lowering strap on my motorcycle even . I’m looking at the Comp version . I was thinking the S2 frame but it’s out of stock for both bikes I was into .. think S3 would be too big?
ОтветитьWashington state?
Ответить$10,000 working man's ebike! 🤣
ОтветитьI need to lose weight to get down to 165 because I’m 5’8” as well. I’ve had to levo pro for three years and written thousands of kilometers and I just bought a expert. I’m keeping the pro to let friends ride. They are super bikes, and I appreciate the great review.
ОтветитьSpot on!
ОтветитьI have a Levo Carbon Comp new in June 2023. I'm glad to hear you had a good warranty experience. I am 3 weeks without. The bike is still in the shop for a power cord replacement.
My Levo Turbo Carbon Comp bike has been amazing as long as the electrical part works. Sucks getting stranded!!!
I have had a problem with it on and off since the bike was purchased in June 2023.
I have had a problem with the main electrical wiring harness making proper connection to the battery.
A default screen would appear on the TCU, and the bikes motor would not engage.
I returned it to my Authorized Specialized dealer. [ THE KIND located in Edwards, Colorado ] for diagnostic checks and repairs. I was given the bike back with the confidence my bike was 100% ok.
Soon after, the bike failed again. I returned the bike to the shop explaining the problem and was called again to pick up the repaired bike. This time, I was skeptical. I checked on the repair only to find the same problem. The owner of the shop assured me that the bike would be repaired. No loaner bike was offered. I was out of a bike for another week. Now it been two weeks, and I was informed that " the Kind " an authorized Specialized dealer needed authorization from "Specialized" to make repairs to the bike by replacing the power cable. Of course, the part wasn't in stock and has to be shipped. YIKES😱!!!
THIS SHOULDN'T BE SO COMPLICATED...
I ask, was doesn't an authorized Specialized dealer have authority to fix the bike. Also, why are parts not stock or readily available.
I still am bikeless.
On another note :
My dropper post is sticking and I wanted that checked out as well. I was told bu the dealer and Specialized both that that issue needs to be handled by the manufacturer of the dropper post.
The part would have to be removed and sent back to the manufacturer for repair or replacement. That could take 2 to 3 weeks. W.T.F. I bought a
new Specialized bike.
I found out from Specialized, I didn't. I bought every other bike part manufacturer products/problems.
AGAIN😱YIKES!!!
The representative at Specialized "Travis" informed me that this is a standard in the industry.
My observation
Buyer Beware !!!
So Sad😭
Note: This bike retailed for $9k. That's more than 3 times what my 1st brand new automobile cost.
Service is everything.
Feel free to post this to allow others to be aware.
What do you use to tow your kids? I have never even considered that as a possibility :D Best tip in 2023 for me
ОтветитьWow not first review claiming bad motor on fresh bike. Wth is specialized production line like 🤔
ОтветитьI THINK YOU SHOULD OF GOT THE S4, WERE THE SAME SIZE HEIGHT AND WEIGHT WISE
NICE VID
Great review 🍻👍
ОтветитьFantastic review! I just ordered a 2022 expert for 8250$. Can’t wait!!!😅
ОтветитьHeya, great video and also watched your review of the orbea rise - also really good... After reviewing those books, If you were coming from analog bike (Santa Cruz hightower) would you go for levo or rise?
Ответить10K working man’s ebike😒
ОтветитьGreat review man! I'm considering this same build for a few reasons. I love bikes and have too many but not an ebike yet 😂, it would be great for longer FUN days, I hate the uphill so if this will get me a few more laps in then hell yeah! And lastly, my gf could borrow it too and I'll just ride my pedal bike (evil wreckoning) and we can both be out riding longer.
ОтветитьWhat's the weight of this build? I'm considering the same size & build.
ОтветитьHi great video, I am waiting for my S3 levo comp carbon to be delivered. $6750 USD in the online winter sale. Now back up to $9k, couldn't resist my first e bike from a alloy comp epic which I love. I wanted to get my wife out more the new sizing means the S3 will fit her 5'4" and also me 5'10". So when she's out I'll be on my epic and when I'm out with my mate we will be on e bikes he's just bought a Obea H15. So it's his fault that I have pulled the trigger on the levo🤣. researched the purchase and just wonder how on earth they can knock 2250 USD off, there must be a huge profit margin or they are selling off before new models. I would advise anyone to shop around the website deal didn't seem to be advertised that well and was only on the US site.
ОтветитьWow, those trails are what dreams are made of.
Ответить"Everyday Man Ebike". LOL. not everyone can afford a bike for $10k. Levo is overpriced, unreliable, and low quality. The battery cells are cheap. Only good is the service IF u buy it new. I have a gen 3 alloy.
ОтветитьPricing is hilarious on these bikes. No wonder they have 25% off. Brose motors are shit.
ОтветитьVery balanced and fair review, thank you. I have the comp carbon and I gotta say I absolutely love it. So much so I want to replace my Bosch-powered Cube Stereo hybrid with another similar Spesh. What a bike. Best days out of my life.
ОтветитьI’ll never ride a manual again after the turbo Levo comp alloy. The bike makes me look great on hill climbs.
ОтветитьWhat size disk was on the front?
ОтветитьGREAT REVIEW. I have a 2022 Comp Carbon and LOVE the bike. There is a smoothness to the motor that you have to ride to feel! More miles, more fun, same leg burn.
By the way I'm 5'11" , 185 LBs and the S4 fits like a glove.
Just found one at a local dealer for 30% off. Too good to pass up. Getting assembled tomorrow. Pretty stoked!
Ответитьwhat kind of cable do you use to tow your kids? I have 3 kids ;)
ОтветитьI would be curious to know why you chose this one over a SL model?
ОтветитьGreat review!! I i had a 2020 comp carbon.
I do had raining waters problem.
Otherwise a super ebike!!
Is there a big difference between this tow version??
Great info!! Luis
Great video..answered a lot of my questions..one thing thats weird is that specialized still can't get those motors rite..come on!!...locally a guy is selling exact model u have for 7k..89 miles on the bike...im soo tempted but I know I won't have the warantee...specialized does weird stuff like the ohlin shock debacle..or that brain shock system..they should just use shimano and call it a day
ОтветитьIs this bike made made in the usa?
Ответитьwhy everyone now wants 220mm rotors??? 200mm works great, just use Shimano brakes :) (or maybe Magura?)
ОтветитьGood review as I’ve been comparing this bike and Kenevo Expert for same price.
ОтветитьNice review. I just got the Turbo Levo Expert as well and absolutely love it! I put on my Wahoo Roam and still can ride to power to get my workouts. Two upgrades… first, like you, I put on carbon bars but from SQLab and second, I put on the GX AXS. And yeah, the stock seat, cheap and awesomely comfortable. And yeah, my SWorks Aethos is not getting the same love anymore….
ОтветитьCan I ask where those trails are located? The single tracks look awesome!
Ответитьgreat review, where do you primarily ride? looks like BC?
ОтветитьDo you have any new issues with the motor?
ОтветитьShort and great review, the best I've seen! Thank you!
Ответитьthanks for a clear and realistic review, from a rider to riders.
my current e-bike use shimano saint, which I find absolutely fantastic for that job.
how would you describe the feel and efficiency of the code? good enough, or should I consider supply the levo with saint again (if I'll buy one eventually)? Thanks!!!
I was wondering if you had any issues with the X2 shock on your Levo. I have seen some posts saying that the side loading stress caused by the extended yoke can cause the shock to fail.
