What's wrong with just getting out of the car when lawfully ordered? The side of the road is NEVER the place to contest a traffic stop. Don't cry to me about race either. This has absolutely NOTHING to do with race and EVERYTHING to do with a grown man acting like a child.

Obviously he was highly uncooperative before he began recording. He was legally stopped. Proceeded to antagonize the officers as though he had done nothing wrong. Then starts filming once it shows him favorably. They trained for this behavior. Yet he doesn't have an inspection. Probably because his vehicle is unsafe and he knowingly evades and drives... innocently mind you. No awareness or intent to endanger others keep in mind. This is a false front scam from the community that revels in scams like few others. But that's an inconvenient factual point of view.

Troop of Hewitt needs to lay off of the alcohol, and he needs to go to anger management, and he should never ever be allowed to put on a uniform. He should also be personally sued, and then personally put in jail. And that’s just for the smirk on his disgusting face.

He violated virtually all the legal and Constitutional rights of the poor citizen he attacked. Pay attention, too, to the other troopers who did nothing to restrain Hewitt or to protect the civilian. That is one of the most insidious aspects of the Thin-Blue-Line. Whichever LEO makes contact or says anything sets the tone of the interaction. LEOs who are not "lead" will, as seen here, defer to the lead and stand ready to beat you or shoot you, but mostly they just stand there with one finger in their ear and their thumb up their butts--absolutely useless. ALL the troopers in this video should be fired and stripped of their LEO licenses. All of them should be flipped off on sight, whether they are in uniform or in the grocery store with their families.

So this dude took the opportunity in our current political climate to get paid and get a more than likely GREAT OFFICER (for purposes other than petty traffick citations) fired.... cops like him need to be on task forces dealing with hardened criminals.. not issuing tickets to expired tags... i don't know his career tho. Maybe he was a dirtbag, but usually you can spot a dirt bag... he looked like the all American "wolf dog" ... to bad he was "sicked" on stray sheep... and who knows, the "victim" may have a history of violent crime... just not enough info to go on here...

P.s. probably didn't help his case to keep his job when he acted unprofessional by telling the viewers to "watch the show" before proceeding to manhandle a guy who didn't feel like stepping out of his car for an expired tag... smh.. The way he gleefully grabs the man with massive excessive force, he's having fun! He loves his job, where else can he injure or kill people with little or no consequences! The thing is at that point the driver would have been thrown to the ground as a lesson for daring to challenge the troopers absolute authority regardless what he did to comply.
The only way America is going to get a handle on this type of excessive violence, first of all is by eliminating Qualified Immunity so police are individually held accountable for their actions not the tax payers! Where their assets and pensions can be garnished.
