In my opinion the more darker rooms add more tension to the atmosphere I love it when I first played the game and got to the parts I thought I was feeling goosebumps it was that good ❤😍

Just beat the game, I’ve got to say they did this remake so amazing I love everything about it. Doing new game plus as the moment and I love all of the new things they added

I think that the new Issac's face in this one is modeled after the actual original Issac voice actor, so in a way i think it fits well

I like Isaac's new face because he looks like Gunner, but I wish he had darker hair and the five o'clock shadow (at least by the end of the game).

I love the original dead space. Having said that I think people forgot that EA shut down the studio that made the original. I myself can’t support a company like this. Now either the gaming community has double standards or people just don’t care about things they say they do.

I always think about the crafting system in DS2 I really loved it - anyway, this remake was really 👍🏻

It's crazy that companies just miss the formula on remakes. If players love it, make it look better. If they hate it, make it play better. Repeat until done.

Everyone go out and buy this game. It worth every cent. Show the developers that we want more to be rereleased.

Most people ignore that Isaac looked terrible in the original. Everyone points to DS2 and 3 as his original face when in fact the DS1 looked like a Phil Collins off of Wish. To me Gunnars real face absolutely fits.

I was also a little thrown off by Issacs friendly ‘dad face’. But then I realized he’s just an engineer with no formal combat training. So it makes more sense.

Nichole was a lot hotter in the original game.

I've just begun playing the Dead space remake and one of my main thoughts was, " the Calisto Protocol is just Dead Space in prison."
I haven't played the first Dead Space since about 2009 but it keeps triggering my memories in a good way and any changes they made seem pretty good to me.
Issac looks the way he does because they modeled his face on the face of the voice actor.

Honestly the zero G sections in the original were HORRIBLE with that point and click to move crap. Adding the later games zero G feature was HUGE imo.

Isaac and Nicole were good looking in the originals now their look older and not fittings into the Game. Nicole gone from a sexy Swedish swimsuit model to Kathleen Kennedy old hag and Isaac looking like Frank West

Hey Matty, good video. I’m sure someone else has pointed this out, but I just discovered that Gunner is the actual face model for Isaac now. I thought that was pretty cool considering he’s done such a good job as the voice actor. Fun to see him get the whole deal.

I am over half way through my new game + and am still adoring what they've with this remake and qm hopeful for a dead space 2 remake as thqt game holds a special place in my heart as my first self bought collectors edition but I've sat here and tried to imagine how they would bring the staggering amount of interconnectivity of this remake to the sprawl as that game didnt have a tram and eqch level had shutters or gates or elevators or entire iron man sections that would tqke you to the next chapter all in all in terms of this remake though holy shit they nailed it. MAKE US WHOLE

When an OG Dead Space player, whose played it so much that they become used to it, comes into the Remake and has a feeling of "What the. why am i getting nervous?" they did this game justice in my book

That first part I just knew I had to turn the lights off... and then I turned them off IRL

i never expected fucking ea the franchise that killed the series to make a new gold standard remake of the original dead space that improves on literally every aspect of the original, but also knows what to not touch under any circumstances, like the original lurkers i expected them to be haphazardly changed into dogs like dead space 3

I’ve only played dead space through one time. I just don’t really like horror games at all. But my biggest gripe with it was

“I thought we were a team, that landed on this ship together?”

“What are everyone else doing to help survive this horror?”

I didn’t like that every now and then someone would call you and tell you to go risk your life fighting these horrible creatures, while they lounged around in some safe haven somewhere doing god knows what.

Anyone who complains about the face is insulting gunnar cause it’s his face.

Never played dead space 2. Played the original dead space 1 and it’s remake and love them. Should I give 2 a try?

Personally I like Issac’s new face model. It took me a moment to adjust but knowing that it’s Gunner Wright sealed the deal for me. He looks like an average joe which is perfect because that’s what Issac is supposed to be.

I'm playing It I'm on the 3rd level and I got to say this is a rock solid game top to bottom. I didn't think we needed a remake eather man I'm eating my words
