I became addicted to marijuana and traveling so thankful ! I knew I was addicted to marijuana so I never tried anything else for fear of addiction ! I take breaks and eventually I’ll get back on marijuana and I’m so thankful that’s my vice ! It’s not perfect and I will stop eventually!! Maybe

When her dad said Sarah started drinking in high school I knew she had a good chance at beating her addiction. Not saying it's impossible for kids who start young but the odds are stacked against them brain development-wise.

Im 33, and i completely agree. i cannot go more than 12 hours without alcohol or i will be in my sh9wer c9nvulsing and puking. I've been drinking a 24 of 6 percent beer 3very day for 5 years now. You can't just stop cold turkey,...its such a nightmare being controlled. Im also heavily addicted to hydromorphone and benzos. And if i go 6 hours without those, i seize up. My life is a nighmmare

I guarantee her trauma is deeper rooted than the Japan trip, and her problem isn’t alcohol. It’s a lineage of bad decisions and probably neglect.
