Cronos Explained

Back to weekly uploads. Sorry for the lack uploads copyright made me re edit or scrap a bunch of videos. Another video later today. I’m working on re doing a podcast as the footage used was copyright striked (who knew Casino was popular asf ). Anyway I’m working on a Beyond the black rainbow video and a video essay with my voice on a certain director’s films. Please comment suggestions for future videos. Keep in mind if it’s a big film it’ll probably take awhile to edit and find proper footage.

Weird and very well-thought-out movie

I think the main subject of the film is the battle between good and evil, leeching, Christianity and resurrection
Jesus Gris, his name sounds like Jesus Christ... One could argue Grise's intention with the cronos stone was in order to be able taking care of his granddaughter and in the end he gave it up when he realised his new condition might cause him to harm her rather than defend her so sacrifices himself for the greater good.... You could clearly see how he struggles with the monster he realised he is becoming... When he is burnt by the sunlight he hides in his granddaughter's container and in an act of affection she hands him out a doll to keep him company... The sun has 3 meanings, warmth, life and death... So does the new with skin has other meaning, white can mean clean, pure, peace but it can also mean empty and death...
During the film Jesus must deal with Angel De la Guardia, cousin of the wealthy De la Guardia... Also Angel's full name means guardian angel you can see through the film that he is not a saint, rather he is a sadistic brute. He and his uncle has a use and abuse relationship, thus leeching from each other... Angel simply wants to inherit his wealthy uncle and he suffers his uncle repeating abuses. While the uncle who is in bad health shape uses angel in order to go out and get the cronos device gor him... one could assume that if the uncle would have being more compassionate and loving angel would not have become such a monster...
Find the man in the monster and at the same time find the monster in the man

How heroic A man chooses death to protect his own family I wish the old man would’ve survived because everyone deserves life

You were wrong about the ending. The ending was letting God decide his fate, if the sun rose and he died then so be it, but it's left ambiguous.

The ending he puts his fate in Gods hands, that's the purpose of the sunrise.

We Are the Night, Suck, The Shed, The Night Flier, Jakob's Wife, Let the Wrong One In, Byzantium, The Vampire Next Door (2024), Near Dark, The Lost Boys, Fright Night 1985, Blade 1, Blade 2, Cronos and Only Lovers Left Alive are good vampire films!!!
