No sapphire crystal, so it's a no go.
ОтветитьI had owned one, it lost 25 seconds a day. That was within Seiko's parameters as the movement is +45 to -35 seconds a day. Sold it and bought a Citizen eco drive, it would maybe lose 25 seconds in 3 months.
ОтветитьHi, what do you think about reviewing San Martin watches? any thoughts?
ОтветитьThe bracelet is so freaking jangly, I can’t even take it seriously, even thought the orange is absolute eye candy
ОтветитьCongratulations to your brother on joining the Seiko family! And congrats to you for introducing him to the world of watches!! Hope you didn't charge him to much for consulting fees!!!
ОтветитьHarga di singapur kalo di rupiahin berapa yah... 😊
Ответитьjam tangan merek terkenal... 👍👍
ОтветитьI have one seiko 5 automatic. Problem is unless you were constantly it stops at 3AM.
Ответить4R34 $380 🤔
ОтветитьThank you, chink...
ОтветитьHy. I agree with vou. It’s a good looking watch, but you should check the Steeldive SD1994 GMT (Seiko GMT homage watch). It’s a microbrand with outstanding quality for the price. Best regards from Portugal. Tks…
Ответитьhate the hardlex. I spent more $100 for sapphire seiko.
ОтветитьGreat review, you got my sub. You would fit right in on WatchCrunch 😁
Ответитьi would say that although the seiko 5 logo might be iconic,i wouldnt say that is this version of the logo
ОтветитьPeople using chronographs to time their instant noodles cracked me up! It me 😅
ОтветитьI have 2 Seiko 5 watches from about 15-17 years from now :)
ОтветитьYou just saved your brother from the matrix! Great choice to red pill him 😂😂😂😂😂
ОтветитьNice video, but it was actually Longines way before than that. I personally like the SPB381 more, kore ky style.
ОтветитьNice in conception but poorly executed.
ОтветитьI have 2 seiko and they both have day/date. a must for me skx013 and the sbbn031.
ОтветитьNot even a sapphire crystal for a high price range!
ОтветитьIt’s a badass watch. You’ve got great taste young lady.
ОтветитьThanks for the great review, Ashley. I just subscribed. I enjoy Seiko watches & have a small collection. I like this GMT, especially the blue dial version. Thanks for the informative review. I am looking forward to getting one!
Ответитьthe Seiko turtle is a must have, not that.
Ответитьnice
Ответить❤
ОтветитьGarbage design. There are far more interesting watches from the now-defunct vintage Seiko 5 line, and at a much better price.
ОтветитьDefinitely on my short list of watches to buy! Thank you!
ОтветитьU r hawt
ОтветитьLove my SSK! My wife is a flight attendant, so the caller GMT is perfect for me. I’ve also cracked two sapphire crystals, but never a Hardlex, although have definitely scratched Hardlex more.
That said, I understand those specs being considered cons by most.
I purchased one in August 2022 and am still thrilled with it!
Ответить43mm is a no go for me...unfortunately. There are so many wonderful watches out there, but too many of them have giand dimensions..
ОтветитьThere is no such thing as a must have watch 😐
ОтветитьExcellent video. Also, I would love to see a review of the recently released Lorier Hydra Series 3 as that is a true GMT well under $1000 USD!
ОтветитьI have snxs79 and Seiko 5 gmt
Now I started using Seiko 5 gmt more
This is a very nice looking watch but I'll never buy one of those. Seiko has no idea what quality control is. They use mineral crystal on super expensive watches. He's cheap clasps on super expensive watches. Yes, this watch is around $400. That's a lot to me and I can get much better watches for that price. If I wanted to spend that much I would buy myself a watch from Islander watch company.
ОтветитьHardlex and 100m WR - all these new SKX's only have 100m WR, making them useless for actual diving. They're "dive style", no better than a fashion watch, to me. Yes i know this is a GMT, but it's same case, so the 100m WR is a big let-down. So if you can't use them for diving, why the Hardlex? Yep, Seiko cheaping out.
Ответитьaaaahhh Seiko n Hardlex…is marriage made in Heaven…….
ОтветитьAbove all, it bothers me that it doesn't have a screw-down crown, but I do like the orange one.
ОтветитьInfluencers 🙄
ОтветитьI agree it continues to baffle me why they won’t put sapphire in a watch in this price range. I’d even pay a bit more. Unfortunately it’s a dealbreaker for many Seiko watches.
ОтветитьVery wonderful review again from you! I’m just wondering, the shoppee seller you provided sells lower price compared to official stores, how do they make profit ah by doing that?
ОтветитьWhen she said watch this video from Long Island Watch channel I just realised that google is tracking me and literally made a playlist for me without me realising. First they suggested me that video and then this. I should log out.
ОтветитьI already owned ssk003 last year, it's a nice watch
ОтветитьGreat watch. I would like it more at 41 MM
ОтветитьBuy steeldive ! This is over price.
ОтветитьI wish we weren't married! Love your videos. Subscription earned.😃
ОтветитьToo big
ОтветитьI would have added the pressed clasp to the list of negatives as well, no excuse for not having a milled clasp and sapphire crystal at the price point these Seikos sell at, the Chinese give you this on their $60 watches.
ОтветитьNice video. Just subscribed! I'm a Seiko fan myself and the problem for me is similar. Hardlex for the price and I would worry that the friction bezel will get loose over time. There is another con for the price. Yes, the bracelet is better than older Seiko 5's BUT a pressed clasp isn't really acceptable for the price. I have many Seiko's and one of the new ones, the blue dial SRPD51 I got on a Nato, but changed to a matching hand made blue leather, it looks great!. I'm more tempted by some of the microbrands using the NH34. Similar price but with sapphire, clicky bi-directional bezels and better bracelets. As for travel and office GMT, I travel a lot between Istanbul and Jakarta for business and really there is absolutely no practical difference between the two. You're not getting a better GMT if you pay big bucks for the travel. They both do exactly the same thing, the only difference is the set up. It's not a con at all.
