Probably the toughest warriors of all times
I would love to see if there are any other civilization you think are better
Thus you know why the Spartans went to the wayside.
Ответить..ya but..
ОтветитьI'm thinking caltrops and hooked nets,Nubian archers maybe, jars with pepper and snake bombs
ОтветитьWhat made the Spartans want to be so disciplined?
ОтветитьThey weren't even as good as their propaganda depicted. They lost to their neighbors a few times.
ОтветитьI just lost any sympathy for the 300.
ОтветитьYou left out all the gay stuff 😂
ОтветитьGreat video 💪💯
ОтветитьSo basically hurt people hurt people.... 😂
Ответить3 stories as suggestions. 1) Australian 2/21st Gull force on Ambon. 2) 2/22nd Lark force on Rabaul. 3) story of LtCol Vivian Bullwinkle. Thesevare WW2 stories that should be promoted and never forgotten. Lest we forget.
ОтветитьPsychopath University.
ОтветитьYoung men would be pared with older men who would teach them all about war, pain, life and love, and they were PARED. It was thought that a man would never show cowardice in front of his lover. They were taught that love between men was pure and with a woman was strictly for 'increasing the population.'
If a man was so ridiculed going home without his shield, why go home? They'll ki11 him anyway; he can live off the land, why would anyone go home? I'd flee to a different state. Mercenary jobs would have paid highly...

ОтветитьTrying to imagine what historians think about our time, when they find russian history books.
ОтветитьThey sure did last a long time. At least until the Athenians get help from Persia.
ОтветитьI'd rather live in Athens 🧐
Btw im from Greece 😊
"Come back with your shield, or on it."
ОтветитьIf I had been born a Spartan and survived to the age of seven, I would have definitely ran away and would have never looked back.
ОтветитьB.S.
ОтветитьI really didn't know the Spartans and the Russians had that much in common.
ОтветитьThey spent their whole lives immersed in hardship and misery and for what? They never expanded into a vast empire. The Athenians had real lives alongside their military service, and yet Sparta never managed to conquer them. It seems for all they sacrificed, this harsh lifestyle didn't give them that big of an edge.
ОтветитьImmediately I'm a fan. Brilliant presentations. Subbing now. Oh!!! Almost forgot. Sensational narration. 🙏😌
ОтветитьAmericans and others like the Koreans took this approach to work life
ОтветитьI have multiple disabilities, so I guess I would’ve been killed at birth during Spartan times 😢
ОтветитьYou can't judge the past by todays standards!!😂
