This tribute brought tears to my 74 year old eyes. I remember the first time I went to the theater and saw Sir Sean as James Bond. I enjoyed all of the artists who followed him, but there was always the presence of Sir Sean. No one compared. He is and will always be the man who brought this character to life. Rest and peace knowing that you still loved and appreciated. ❤❤

I’ve just been captivated by Welsh, Scots and Irish actors all my life. Anthony Hopkins, Sean Connery, Richard Harris, Charles Dance (English) and many more. For some reason I found older Celtic men attractive. So, my very first very serious and long time boyfriend was Celtic. He was Welsh. My second very serious boyfriend was Irish. Two of the most profound relationships I ever had because they were just quality men. They raised my standards so high that I can never go back.

Pierce Brosnan was an absolutely perfect James Bond, but the Bond movies he was in were bad. Too over the top and badly scripted. What a waste. That the movies were bad was not Pierce's fault and he gave a great and moving tribute to Sean Connery.

I read somewhere Brosnan thinks he was never good enough as Bond. No offense Mr. B but that is the absolutely stupidest thing I've heard in my whole life.

Brosnan is the embodiment of true nobility. Dignity and class, badass, charisma for days, insanely beautifully good-looking... yet he is also kind, thoughtful and reflective, and humble. With Brosnan's unreal good looks and charm, you could pretty much just cruise through life as one long joyride, with virtually every door in life just hanging open for you. Really cool that he still put so much time and work into himself and growing and actually being an all-around good, sensitive, caring human being. Never acts like he is above others even though he pretty much is just on the basis of his looks - He is obviously always at the top of the pecking order at any social event or gathering.

Also, he's been with the same woman for pretty much forever, which speaks volumes about his character that, in his position and with the temptations that come with it, he has been unwaveringly loyal to his wife - he's actually a balanced, healthy, emotionally in tune human being. So many other A-list actors are the opposite of Brosnan - characterized by excess, total lack of emotional maturity from having their unhealthy coping mechanisms and character flaws enabled and encouraged by everyone else because they're famous, and in general being completely divorced from reality as it stands for most people in the world.

This guy is really a beautiful human being, and I don't even know how its possible to say this about someone who looks like him, but the large majority of what makes him beautiful has nothing to do with his looks.
