Why don't everyone call the different ingredients the same. Catalyst, hardener, activator. Makes it all more confusing and difficult than it should. Too many people with egos get involved that want to stand out or different than everyone else. They think it makes them look smart. All it does is make things confusing.

Does adding reducer to a ready-to-spray basecoat dilute the color???

Does it always have to be 2 or it all depends on how much paint you wana use ?

Can you use urethane reducer with rust-oleum spray oil based paint?

Thank you so much I’ve recently got a new job and they have me painting wasn’t in the job description but I really enjoy it so much so that I bought a project car that I’m going to try paint myself always struggled with the mixing side of things ended up too strong or too thick but you’ve just explained everything so perfectly I understand it all so very much now and it’s because of you thank you so much !!!!!

Very good, simple to follow, and informational. I bought 3 paint products (base paint, pearl paint and some medium reducer) to paint a small area on my wife's SUV. The paint vendor was very vague about what to mix and how much. You video made it all very easy to understand, and why the ratio are what they are. Thank you very much!

Thank you for this video - very helpful. Question: If I buy a litre of clear coat in a paint shop, do I need to purchase hardener also to mix with the clear coat or is the hardened already mixed in the can of clear coat. I desperately need help. Thank you.

Teaching is a science and you my friend, have it down to a tee. I am a hardcore diagnostician. Done everything from electrical, mechanical, engine swaps, AC you name it. hi, im wondering if you can help, ive bought gloss black paint, and other materials but the instructions say 2-1 ratio plus 15-20% thinner. 15-20% of what do they mean.
