You have a knack for capturing such beautiful shots of wildlife. Zebra, Khudu, I love them all! Maybe Mandevu was shedding old sheaths on his claws? It's amazing how Lions know exactly where their territory lines are. If I was on that line, no amount of money could make me cross that line lol I love your enthusiasm. It matches ours. Yes, a loud lion roar cuts through the bones in person. Video most definitely does not do justice to the experience.

Where is Orpen Junior Mbiri?

Obviously the roar can never get completely through to you from a film, but I had the opportunity to be very up close to this roar many yrs. ago @ Bronx Zoo -- that was a time when animals had cages. It almost knocked me over. I also witnessed an annoyed lion turning his back to a teenage boy & spraying him directly in the face because the boy was shouting at him. Amazing aim, considering his back was to the boy!

Gotta stop the direct spot light in the cats face. You're actually blinding them. They have terrific night vision so you're interrupting his sight incase of danger. I think this is your finest work and I think I've seen most of your videos since you've been doing this. Your use of lighting, your narration, your understanding of the animals and the situation. The way you hold the scene and let the sounds of the nature around that come to forefront and then identifying different bird calls and all of that. Fantastic job. You deserve a raise. He reminds me of red Road in a lot of ways, but he’s great red Road a long time ago did have a brother or was somebody he was with but they passed away as what I heard
