intel i7-10700K vs 11700K vs 12700K vs 13700K - How much performance improvement?

Just got a 14700k with a mobo and 32 gigs of ram for 500 bucks. If youre going to upgrade now is the time.

I hope you keep making this kind of video in the future. So everyone can compare how much bottleneck everyone's losing each year. Like is it still worth it to buy the highest-end and most expensive GPU alone rather than buying a mid-tier GPU with a new-gen CPU and everything?

i was starting to feel slow with my 10700k. then i realized when i purchased it 3 years ago, it was 10-30% faster then 9700k, and im over 140-200fps 0n most games on First person games. and 100 fps on stratgy games, im good.

Why is every single video on YT with comparisons using a 1080p resolution? Who games with a 3080, 3090, 4000's series on 1080P anymore?

Comparison in 1440p an 4k wouldve been interesting. I think the performance will close dramaticly there as the gpu becomes more of a bottleneck than in just 1080p.

those gaming tests are useles ,because people dont play single player games on low settings with hardware like that.

2020-2022: 4 gens became in this range;

i have an 11700 (not k) whith unlock power draw to the max 125w tdp, and a i have 4090, i wanna change cpu but im scared if than 6 months intel change again platform, cause i have to buy mobo cpu ram and cooler, i dont wanna trashing 1200italian bucks (euro) in 6/9 months... what you think about my situation? i have problem only whid ac odissey (70fps IN 1440P and 60 in 4k).. I dont know if is the cpu bottleneck or a softwere bug... im lost realy 60% of performance?

I decided on a 13700k, but I have a temperature problem, I put a thermalright contact frame
with a deepcool ak620 and apply the thermal paste that comes as a gift with it, the thing is that when I pass the cinebech to the seconds it reaches one hundred centigrade, they have a solution without having to change the cooler, thanks in advance?

Could you add some strategies like total war or victoria 3 (at 5 speeds) to the game tests. Wargames are very demanding specifically on processors and I would like to see how much processors differ from each other in these games

I'm curious how the RTX 3080 gives better FPS than the RTX 3060 using the same CPU in games like Dota 2 despite both being CPU bottlenecked. Shouldn't the FPS be the same, or is it simply that the fps drops much less with the 3080 increasing the averages?

well im sticking with my 10700k 3600mhz DDR4 and 2070 super for the foreseeable future.

Why such crappy ddr4 ram? when the ddr5 systems are using top notch low latency 6400mt/s? 4400cl14 is easy with the 10700k and 3600cl14 should be for the 11700k.

I can tell ya that zen3 will loose in many games to the 10700k with 4400cl17 ram.
