ОтветитьLike this to laugh at Arsenal for no reason button
ОтветитьWho has surprised you the most this season?
ОтветитьSpeaking from a Chelsea fan's perspective. Brentfords set-piece coach arrived in the summer, and if you look at the stats our set pieces are improving (albeit slower than you'd ideally want) specifically our defending of set pieces. I imagine it'll take time to see obvious improvement in that area.
Regarding the issue of big teams marking Cole Palmer out of the game. Maresca's solution that leaves Gusto with tons of space only brings issues because of Reece James' fitness imo. In an ideal world it'd be him in those advanced areas (and it would be devastating to the opponents were he to have that much space), but its unclear at the moment if he has the fitness to go up-and-down having come back from a long string of injuries, hence why so far this season we've seen him tucking in as a 3rd CB to save his legs. If we can see James in the "Gusto role" as the season develops I feel those big teams will be unable to stifle the team by solely targeting Palmer.
has flav had a haircut? looks different
ОтветитьWatching your channel is like an inspiring adventure that never ends. Keep leading us into the wonderful world of your creativity!❤️🫢🫠🚴
ОтветитьI'm not worried about Brentford. They've been picking up the points they were supposed to. It's just that they haven't upset any of the big teams so far
ОтветитьWith Brighton it’s always ‘unreal squad depth’ but when it’s chelsea who have a similar if not smaller squad size, it’s always about the squad being too big.
ОтветитьI’m a spurs fan, and you hit the nail on the head, 80/20 sums it up and it has to change, and it’s soooo frustrating that the only person who doesn’t seem to get it, is the only person that can change it. We have so many good things going for us but our lack of changing tactics even if small, is killing us.
ОтветитьAs a Liverpool fan, I agree if we win the league, it’s not going to be one of those all timer leagues which is a weird feeling cause it’s still the same players lol
Maybe it’s cause everyone is still tentative about what it means cause it’s so different from Klopp so no one is really sure what to make of it
What on earth are we talking about attacking half space? Lets pretend we're not a tactical genius lol
ОтветитьWord of advice, I wouldn’t have marked the teams, or put them in alphabetical order. I’m not willingly gonna listen to shit about Brentford
Ответитьyour camera has a dust spot
ОтветитьI don't know how many times Wolves fans will have to tell Joe Tomlinson that Max Kilman wasn't one of our best players
ОтветитьNwaneri 8s a 9.5
ОтветитьAs a Liverpool fan I honestly think the talent level of squad that Klopp left is out of this world and has made Slot's job extremely easy. Sometimes I think that Van Dijk could be player-coaching this group of players and they would still finish top 4.
ОтветитьEmery brought through Saka and Smith-Rowe, not Arteta
ОтветитьI have one key stat that will really proove to everyone that Liverpool is the best team so far in the PL:
They have more points than the others.
Fixture difficulty is a hard concept to sell. Liverpool playing Bournemouth and Wolves playing Bournemouth is not the same fixture difficulty. A relegation candidate like wolves will always have one of the hardest fixture difficulty just because there are so many better teams.
ОтветитьBrentford have arguably gotten exactly the points they should've been expected to have gotten ... Their away form is not (yet) a massive concern when you actually look at who've they're played on the road as of yet ... Liverpool, Man City, Man Utd, Tottenham and Fulham ... and you could make a reasonably coherent argument that they probably would've deserved to go home with something at both visits to Manchester, and very nearly got away with theft-of-the-year against Fulham ( ... on the reverse, you could equally easily make the argument that Crystal Palace had deserved something from their visit at GTech)
Brentfords big problem this season (as of yet) is that we're still without any highly enough skilled Fullbacks, and frankly haven't been ever since Rico Henry and Aaron Hickey got injured last fall, so in every game it's a bit of a roll of the dice as of who's playing on which side... as of yet we've had two CBs (Ajer and VanDerBerg), a midfielder (Janelt, Mr.JackOfAllTrades) and a winger (Lewis-Potter) together with our 3rd/4th choice Fullback (Roeslev) who tries his best, and usually just about gets away with being 'serviceable enough', but ultimately probably aren't at the Premier league level.
Unfortunately Hickey got re-injured in his rebuild, but hopefully Rico Henry is edging closer to being match ready, at which point I expect Brentford to be able to clam a bit down, and not in the same way looking after scoring loads of goals, since we know that we have to given our somewhat makeshift backline
Two of the brightest and best to watch in this space with James and Joe.
ОтветитьThe Slot to Ange comparisons make no sense like the spurs players overnight at the start of last season looked miles better and it was clear that a few of them were just having purple patches at the same time. If u look at the liverpool players yes u can say diaz, gravenberch and konate are performing better than they arguably ever have so far this season so they could get a bit worse in weeks to come but then there’s players like trent, robertson, mac allister and szoboszlai who have all not been amazing so far this season so they could hit purple patches when the others aren’t quite there or they all could at the same time and we could blitz the league. It’s the classic comparison of form is temporary class is permanent, yes slot and ange were both new but these players have been class for years now
ОтветитьThank you for timestamps
ОтветитьIf (when ;) ) we win the league, it will be written off as a season where Arsenal and City failed and let them win.
ОтветитьIm surprised at his palace knowledge👏 used to write off this manure ging
ОтветитьThanks for the nice words about Fulham.
ОтветитьStrange phrasing talking about "we're not good enough to play through you so we'll go over the top." Ridiculous, selective narratives.
ОтветитьJames loves to every now and then collab with a pleb with no clue about football. Odd.
ОтветитьI was screaming for Forest to sign Liam Delap last Summer and then last Jan, knowing we have one old striker and one injury prone one. He woulda been a perfect understudy to Chris Wood. Oh well, at least England have a young striker who looks a threat.
ОтветитьWhen Chelsea signed Brentfords set piece guy I'm pretty sure he was meant to be starting this season. Brentford didn't want him starting midway through last season. What I see is Chelsea struggling with setpieces and Brentford being as good as ever, so how much were Brentfords more creative set pieces down to this set piece guy and how much was down to Frank? I dunno for sure but Im feeling like Frank was giving the best ideas and this guy was just fine tuning through the coaching.
ОтветитьI always get surprised to the actual impartial analysis on this channel. I’m so used to other commentators just spouting nonsense lol
ОтветитьOhh yes I'm LOVING the recent collabs.. even on the JAFFN
ОтветитьThis dude can't be a United fan and say that Pep is the greatest manager ever. What a knob.
Ответитьsounds like Joe had to prewrite his entire part of the podcast. Bro sounding goofy asf
ОтветитьPeople didn't even have Liverpool in a title race at the start of the race. Some didn't even give them the top 4. Then it became about new them not playing anyone. Now, it is about whether they would be lauded despite them weathering a tough run of fixtures. It's crazy man. Just appreciate them, accept you got your prediction at the start wrong and move on.
ОтветитьNice to be on big dog.
