Nice video, but I kinda prefer the longer stuff - deep dives over those shallow brief overviews. Just a personal preference, still an awesome video.

I think the silvermoon city is a hallway because well...its not a city, but a way to the sunwell plateau, literally a hallway to it huh. So in some way it makes sense?

If anyone wants to try something interesting, try getting czech voices for warcraft 3 and play the campaign, you dont even need to understand the language and those translations are pretty wonky in places, but holy hell all the voice actors sound so much better than the english voices, you wont be able to go back to generic sounding dude voices once you hear the epic Arthas, Lich King, KelThuzad and others ..

Wait. Realy? WarCraft 3 is always online now? So the best way to play is still the discs or the “installer tomes”

I'm usually put off by videos of this length, but there's something about the way that you structure and narrate them that makes it enjoyable. The fact that RTS games are broken up into campaigns and your videos follow that makes it nice to watch in chapters, since I don't really have the time to watch such long videos in one sitting.

I hope this video does at least as well as the Age of Mythology video and it encourages you to do more. I'm sure you're at least gonna want to do StarCraft as well. It would be nice though if you did some perhaps briefer vidoes on the earlier games as well. Though maybe something like the first Warcraft (or even the second) is too clunky and primitive for your taste. I dunno...

Anyway, I don't comment on videos that often, but I hope you fo more of these and if commenting helps with the algorithm... 😁

Finally new GIANT video. GREAT! But hey, isn't Reign of Chaos start with Thrall's dream and real tutorial? Orcs campaign was originally split in two -- first two Orcs missions on Lorderon with tutorial and stuff, then Human and Undead campaign, and then Kalimdor events for Orcs. On Frozen Throne Sea witch part was added as Custom Campaign and then was added as regular levels on Reforged. Something like that

This was brief. I expected 6:66:66 but I suppose you might have accidentally summoned the Burning Legion if you went on that long

Great game still fun to this day. But.... But.... For me playing it with the SC2 engine is more fun and "fluid".
I just hate upkeep

Fun fact: Up keep as a mechanic was only added as a way to further optimize the game, it pushed players into having smaller amounts of units at one time so the game won't show some of its limitations.

The final mission for undead Sylvanas is sadly underwhelming. You can just spam charm on Frost Wyrms. There is a particular safe area where you can bait a single Frost Wyrm. Rinse and repeat until you have like 20~30 of them, and then chuckle at the simplicity of the mission.

Im followed you for all the amazing sc2 challenge video but these 2 retrospective videos are amazing dude, i know its take a very long tine to make these but i love it, im gonna be here for more. The video is great and I am glad more Warcraft 3 stuff is out there but I feel as you don't correctly portray what the Reforged team went through. It wasn't incompetence or dislike of the team that led to Reforge doing bad. It was the higher ups not caring and wanting to make a quick buck. Interviews done by the original Culling mission said as much.

Grant, I can tell you why they treated it as heroes dying and being brought back repeatedly. Because the production for Reforged overlapped with Shadowlands where it was heavily implied / basically confirmed that the constant dying and coming back thing is a legit thing that's happening to various hero types. So, yeah, blame Blizzard for that one. : )
