Been working with resin for years and finally someone is gracious enough to share the finishing process. THANKS - I typed out the steps with items you need to pick up:
AA 150 sandpaper
240 sandpaper
C 800 grit sandpaper wet with water and dish soap
P 1000 grit sandpaper wet with water and dish soap
Turtle Wax Rubbing compound
Turtle Wax Polishing compound
Who will do this for big project

They seem to keep getting tiny little fuzz particles in some of my resin coasters and I was trying to find a way to sand it down just a little bit and then polish it without having to add a whole another coat of epoxy. THANK YOU!!!!!

ОтветитьThank you so much for showing the entire process, albeit sped up. I bought a different plastic polish to fish some resin pieces that have imperfect surfaces and it didn’t seem to do diddly squat even with proper sanding. I’m going to try the turtle wax ones now!

ОтветитьYou can start with any grit just make sure you don't take too much off. Nice up with wet and dry sandpaper up to 1000grit and over. I like to go up to 3000grit and over.
