He is a traitor to his race
Ответитьwhat an artist. I'm in awe of him
ОтветитьOne of my favortite song of that show.
I really love the intrumental part. 😍
People need to stop hating on straight white men and pretending that they make up the only people who cause problems.
ОтветитьJack Off - can't you come up with something original
ОтветитьThis might be a deeper reading than intended, but i like how he says “it doesn’t work with the rhythm” about a song he wrote himself. He could change the rhythm of the line to fit the full phrase, but he doesn’t, because he likes it the way it is. Just like how straight white men are the ones with the most power to change things, but they don’t want to, so they act like they can’t because “that’s just the way it is.“
ОтветитьAs an straight white male this songs describes my daily pain.
ОтветитьThis is so needlessly dramatic and expressive and I love it :D
ОтветитьWhat $ and what land? I live in a van bud
ОтветитьTom Macdonald's video is way more popular than Bo Burnham's sarcastic woke preachy bullshit.
ОтветитьCan he release an album of just piano? He actually plays beautifully.
ОтветитьReally not funny or clever
ОтветитьPeople forget ability status plays a role
ОтветитьNeurotypical too.
Ответить"We used to own all the land, But it’s not as fun now" is my favorite line 🤣
ОтветитьBrilliant brilliant really brilliant ❤
ОтветитьI don't mean anything by this but Turning Out by AJR and this song sound a bit similar in terms of their piano tune
ОтветитьThis song is terrible & stupid!!!
ОтветитьI may be going crazy but at the start before he starts singing, it sounds like a hymn that I learnt at school.
ОтветитьStop producing Dave Chappelle's transphobic shit, NETFLIX.
ОтветитьBo told me to say Arpeggio as much as possible around or when hearing a piano play, sooo… Arpeggio.
ОтветитьI hope that a gay black woman makes a cover of this song just because it would be ironic.
ОтветитьHe's the only man who could play this in a geto and be completely fine by the end of the song
ОтветитьAmen!
ОтветитьWalking around
I got no one to talk to
There's everyone
And then there's just me
If I could change
Don't you think that I'd do it?
God only knows
Why he cursed me to be
A straight white male
I state my problems
Other people roll their eyes
Three trips to the mall
Zero khakis in my size
I've never been the victim
Of a random search for drugs
But you can't say
My life is easy
Until you've walked a mile in my UGGs
Straight white male
I know the road looks tough ahead
The women want rights
The gays want kids (what?)
Can't you just leave us alone?
And also no to the things you asked for
(They're being greedy
And they know it, okay?)
Everyone thinks that I've got it easy
Just 'cause it's true
Doesn't mean that it's right
So pull up a chair
And put down your pitchforks
Give me a chance
To show you what it is like
To be a straight white male
The churches never made me
Feel ashamed of who I am
But I get emails from Zappos
That Gmail doesn't mark as spam
My country's constitution
Was hand-written by my race
But my wife bought me
The brand new iPhone
With an iPod touch's case
(Case doesn't fit that phone)
Straight white male
I know the road looks tough ahead
The women want rights
The blacks want
Not to be called the blacks (sorry)
Can't you just leave us alone?
And also no to the things you asked for
Straight white male
Knows the road looks tough ahead
The women want rights
The African Ameri-
It doesn't work with the rhythm
We used to have all the money and land
And we still do
But it's not as fun now
The world does not deserve this man. Just f*cking brilliant.
ОтветитьCallMeKevin sung this too it was great
ОтветитьIt's straight white male ya pussies fix your subtitles.
ОтветитьI love how he's bashing wokeness in a comedic and non threatening manner. Although some ppl will be threatened by it still
ОтветитьEffing brilliant
Ответитьmy introduction to this song was analyzing it in literature class senior year. perks of having a cool teacher
ОтветитьHe read on Twitter the complaints the alphabet mafia vomits against white people and made a funny song about it. Based and lame at the same time.
ОтветитьReally enjoy the sheer amount of straight white men in the comments clawing to defend themselves
Ответить😂
ОтветитьWalking around got no one to talk to
ОтветитьFirst words so relatable
ОтветитьThe way he says 'kakis' with a slight rasp scratches my brain
ОтветитьBecause only white people would ever have first world problems and only non whites could have hard times.
This might have passed as funny 25 years ago when we all could make fun of each other and ourselves but today you can't joke about everyone equally so I (as a white) don't want to be made fun of either.
Everyone in America has the same rights and are supposed to be held to the same laws.
I’m a not-straight white woman, so I guess I’m halfway there
ОтветитьIf vanilla ice dodged his suit against under pressure… there’s nothing here
ОтветитьI wasn't sure what to think of this song when I first heard it, but the "...and also NO to the things you asked for" line solidified that it was a fantastic song. Bo really has the ability to demonstrate a point in a funny way.
Ответить"Straight white mail, I work in a coal mine, my family is ravaged by meth, I'm so spoiled"
Ответитьidk why but the one dude laughing super hard right when he stops singing at the end kills me every time lmfao
ОтветитьAs an Asian, aroace female, I can confirm that I have not walked a mile in Bo’s Uggs.
ОтветитьAs a bi white woman who, like bo, sturggles with her mental health, I find this song so genius.
You know that your privileged and your life is for the most part amazing and full of opportunities and sometimes you whine about small things and feel bad. ( Rightfully so)
But when it comes to your mental health and your not okay you feel ashamed and guilty for feeling as if your life was difficult and full of challanges because you know that you have such a good start in life. To be able to put that complicated mess in a sarcastic song is really quite the work of art.
"just cause it's true doesn't mean it's right"
Been hearing that a lot these days
