I use coconut oil for makeup removal, cooking, and several health purposes. It's several uses in one jar.
ОтветитьLike the video but it looks blurry to me. Out of focus?
ОтветитьI ve always lived like this and it’s my mentality, i though it was normal . Well now i know it’s not and it takes people effort to reach this level , i feel proud and happy to be like this .
Tho fun fact , i was actually trying to do the opposite for a while, i was like why is everyone buying stuff… let me try it , but then meh i didn’t find any purpose of doing so , so I’m back on my old track and even better and more conscious about it now.
☺Beautiful detailing of female excess. And I thought that excess means charm. Therefore, minimalism means charm! you are charming, I'm not there yet.
I feel like a horse with a saddle on the back, surrounded and visited by all the tembes and tembeles who want to take advantage of something from my strength or weakness or those who support me. And each one leaves a residue called addiction, which I can't get rid of because it keeps reappearing; sometimes I don't feel like a horse, I feel like a dress in which I'm getting fatter and fatter, I don't know how to throw away the dress to become me again, that is, human. ...help I dare, I'm addicted and I don't understand why.
For this reason, I am not the best version - myself - for the loved one.
Great list but you should stop buying paper towels. Use dish towels and just wash them or use old rags.
ОтветитьAnd when you don’t buy you have more money to travel, give away and amazingly save.
ОтветитьI could hug you for the silicone sponge tip!
ОтветитьI have 6 kids still in the house, 3 over 10 & 3 5 and under. Im constantly overwhelmed with stuff but i feel like i cant do anything about it cuz most of it isnt my stuff 😢
ОтветитьI think this is growing up. 🪴
ОтветитьIt just so happens that all the 50 things she mentioned here are the exact same things that we don't buy either. If this is an exam I will have a perfect score. 😅
ОтветитьI'm working on de-cluttering. Hard when you live with someone who refuses to stop buying and hoarding (living with and helping take care of my dad). Make sure people know about stocking up on stuff with chemicals (toothpaste, cleaning products, lotions, etc). The chemicals in these products break down and change over a few years. They can become dangerous and harm someone. Also the packaging is breaking down faster and faster. All those people who stock up on years worth of these chemicals will just have to throw them away. The landfills are going to be toxic. I have also found the can goods have started leaking. Had to clean up and throw away canned fruit my dad had bought a few years ago. Black sludge was leaking out of the cans.
ОтветитьFab vid - I've only just found you! Brought up in farming/teaching family, for 68yrs I kept everything 'just in case' but overnight the Lord changed me & I've been working towards minimalism ever since. I don't have much energy, so it's not easy, but I will reach my goal. I certainly don't buy most of your list, which is a big help! Thanks v much mx
ОтветитьI'm interested in your Dave Ramsey journey 😊
ОтветитьThank you for the awesome tips. I agree with most and couldn’t help but laugh at your comments about everything extra always being for a wedding 😄
ОтветитьIt’s funny cuz my RYT200 gave me PTSD. Glad yours transformed you in a positive way!
ОтветитьGreat video Martha, please tell me what do u use to wrap you food..for freezer it's difficult without plastic bags😮.. thanks
ОтветитьThank you for the inspiration. ❤
ОтветитьI'm just about to move into my first apartment ever and this is a big help! Thank you!!
ОтветитьThanks
ОтветитьDoes you silicone scrubber scratch your pans?
ОтветитьGood information but had to turn off video bc the background music is super annoying and it kept getting louder and louder and louder!
ОтветитьVery inspiring video, your dog is divine. I do use a credit card and clear the balance monthly. Only because it gives extra consumer protection where I live (UK) on larger purchases such as kitchen appliances etc.
ОтветитьI donate my books to second hand bookstores and then, I get some credit when she sells. So I go there for “new” books.
ОтветитьHey if you love sparkling water, you should consider getting a soda stream. I love love love mine - it’s like having sparkling water on tap, plus it’s so much better for the environment
ОтветитьBaking soda and white vinegar, many uses
ОтветитьOut of curiosity do you guys have a tv and if so what do you guys watch? I thought this video was so wonderful and fascinating
ОтветитьThis is so HELPFUL and this video also reassure me that being a minimalist is okay.
ОтветитьStocking up gives me such peace- and excitement - when I get a good deal!
ОтветитьNothing declutters your life like POVERTY. I've always been one of these if-you-can't-afford-it-you-don't-buy-it or if-you-don't-need--it-you-don't-buy-it
ОтветитьI can watch this over and over to get it through my brain I don’t need this. Thank you for this video and
ОтветитьGreat video, what a wonderful way to live.
ОтветитьOne thing we don't buy but love is bubbly water. We have a soda stream and make our own.
ОтветитьI have NEVER bought some of the things that were mentioned ever. Credit card? We have got one and it’s always paid in full. Never paid any interest on it. We do get points and once they are enough we use them to pay off the bills.
ОтветитьWow there are a lot of things I don’t buy! The whole salon treatment because I feel it’s a waste of money! I so wish I could get rid of more things so that I don’t feel pressured to buy them! I’m a work in progress
ОтветитьI LIVE for my second hand books, my New Yorker and New York magazines and a daily paper that is my love and hate at the same time - but otherwise I buy//have none of that stuff either. I raise you no tv, no clothes dryer in a cold climate, no cell phone and probably other stuff too. btw, love the window in the background and the pup. Is that a stop sign outside?
ОтветитьI definitely encourage you to consider credit cards more seriously. I have several and have auto-paid them all off in full every time, so I never worry about the interest. The benefit is that your money is better protected (fraudulent charges are much easier to get sorted than if someone actually drains your bank account), you can access great warranties/insurance/benefits, and of course save significant money. Just my 2 cents!
ОтветитьWhere is your linen shirt from??!!!
ОтветитьReally interesting, but, I have to keep going back as you talk really fast. Apart from that, good video.
ОтветитьI love your post. I agreed with everything you said. I have been a practicing minimalism for 50 years. Well it was kind of born into me too! Our whole family is this way. This is the 1st presentation I have watched that matches my lifestyle. Thank you.
ОтветитьCan you list the oil diffuser
ОтветитьWow, the book thing was eye opening for me. I love books. I used to read every single day. Since I got to college, that hobby has been extremely downsized. I haven't bought books like I used to for years because I discovered I could find them online, or I can just go to the library, or use the app libby to read. However, I never thought about donating the other books I've collected over the years. They are great, but I haven't touched a lot of them in years. I know what I'm going through next.
ОтветитьPlease! These ideas are great but the music accompanying the video is so annoying and distracting. Personally I want to learn from you and enjoy your content without distractions. I wonder if anyone else feels this way 🤔
ОтветитьI forgot about the snacks and Uber eats! It is a waste of money and health
ОтветитьBack in 2008 we cut the cords for cable. We have never paid for streaming. No paper cups, plates, or forks. When we moved we donated all our dishes. I’ve never done trends when it came to clothing. Trash bags are a pain and I thought I was the only one being stressed by nail polish. I agree on the makeup. It’s too much. There are a lot of items on your list that’s on ours. We just gave up paper towels. I’ve always decorated with family photos or my work.
ОтветитьWhere’d you get your throw pillow!!
ОтветитьI see I'm not the only one thinking this way. Don't buy 48 of your 50 things you don't buy anymore. Feel really better and free without.
ОтветитьEnjoyed your video and got some great tips. I notice you have a gorgeous dog. Just be careful diffusing oils around animals, I stopped using my diffuser when I realised it can be really harmful to animals.
Ответить#32 i had no idea that was even a thing- my family has aways used bags from when we've gone to the store-
Ответить
