Please don't stop!!
ОтветитьBest and funniest sailing video I've seen so far! Thanks for sharing your experiences and the laughs
ОтветитьAdore your videos, plz make more... very raw, autobiographical, no voice overs and background music… just sounds of the waves & wind creaking of the ship, speaking to the cam, I feel like I’m am there. Reminds me of Sam Holmes Sailing, bravo🥂
ОтветитьNote to self: Pack an extra starter when crossing.
ОтветитьWill someone respond to this message and tell me if the whale is ok so i can watch this. I don't care of any of the humans were hurt.
ОтветитьBoth of your attitudes are so perfect. You roll with the punches and the waves! Taking it all in stride with a sense of humour. Welll done, and safe passage to you!
ОтветитьI really enjoyed your video. Well done. Thank you
ОтветитьI think Steve's more used to cooking up in a R.V 😊
ОтветитьIt could’ve been catastrophic if that cushion had gone up in flames from that light.
ОтветитьLol...setting your clock according to dawn and breakfast, reminds me of Churchill's habit of traveling by "stomach time."
ОтветитьAs a few others have said, I really appreciate that I was able to watch this without that annoying music other utubers always add. Im not sure why they do that, but its one of my biggest peeves. It was so nice just listening to the waves, and made it feel more real, if that makes any sense?😊
ОтветитьLike the sights and sound of real sailing, no music is nice, great guys . There is a different feeling to this channel but I can't describe it. Well done 👍
Ответитьhope she hits you back and sink you, as an stupid empty cargo wannabe messing the ocean
Ответить❤❤
ОтветитьLet us know when that giant squid comes calling .
With a video would be nice ! 😊
When you travel like that, wouldn't it be prudent to carry a set of spare parts for the most parts that go wrong or the most difficult/ essential electrical parts to obtain ?
ОтветитьMy dream is to cross Atlantic and Pacific ocean with sailboat. Also, to cross Northwest passage. In a couple of years i will be ready. Nice work guys, keep up the good work
ОтветитьThrowing some "The doors" lyrics. My kind of guy right there. One day id love to be able to have adventures like this. Until then im thankful for wonderfully edited videos like you have here. Much love and safe voyages
ОтветитьA very big whale, protecting a political party who isn’t in power. Savy?
ОтветитьNice trip, beautiful boat! Well done guyyys.
ОтветитьWho cares
ОтветитьThese guys seem surprised that they've encountered wind and rain crossing the Atlantic?
ОтветитьExcellent, thanks.
ОтветитьNice going’s, but I wonder how you got that starter to be engaged?
How does that work? Normally it should disengage after start or if the engine runs faster than the starter.
But this shows the real stuf. Not the fancy channels where all problems disappear.
you guys are great .. thanks for sharing !
ОтветитьExcuse me if the question is not appropriate, how old are each of you? Thank you for sharing.
ОтветитьAm I the only one who thought about Heisenberg?
ОтветитьBurning out a starter motor and losing all engine power a few days into an Atlantic crossing, I would have returned and repaired the engine. Imagine being becalmed with a ship bearing down, or running aground on the Azores due to hurricane force winds. Disasters are usually the result of a number of small contributing factors.
Great ocean photography, well sailed.
The video name was a bit of misinformation.
Ответить...and Why would you start the Motor of a sailing yacht, while sailing in the midst of an ocean? Why?
ОтветитьFold the ends in when rolling a tortilla. It makes for a less messy experience when eating onboard a rocking boat.
ОтветитьThat captain was cool as a cucumber 😅
Ответить(my comment after his beginning comment) Steve is funny & smart !
ОтветитьAs someone who loves to sail, this was pure joy to watch! And such a handsome skipper and crew. Well done.
ОтветитьGreat video. Steve is hilarious 😂 loving the positivity ❤
ОтветитьDespite the "click bait' items it seemed to be a pretty good run. It doesn't matter how many times you see dolphins on the bow you never tire of it. Although I'm not as excited as I was as a 4 year old it still is a pleasure to see.
ОтветитьAprox 2 mins in, new sub👍
ОтветитьWhy are the Poms so confusingly accurate?
ОтветитьSo enjoyed your journey. Two competent sailors.. So enjoyed your journey. Two competent sailors..
ОтветитьWhat an action packed Atlantic crossing and you're right: there was a lot of click bait! You had me at 'We've hit a whale'! A friend of mine really hit a whale hard here in S.E. Alaska's Inside Passage one year on a 250 mile sailboat race, at 2 am while doing 7 knots! Bent his bow pulpit and he found whale blubber on the foredeck!
Good catch on the light and the cushion. Like you, I'd changed all but one of my lights to LED and had to pull a cushion up to get to a storage area. The light above the cushion was on, the cushion was against the light (I didn't notice) and in about 15 minutes, I smelled burning plastic (the cover on the light).
Good call regarding preparing for the gale warning in advance, especially getting the drogue ready. Hard to do that if the boat's already at the point where the drogue is needed. Kind of fits the motto of 'reef early and reef often' in racing.
How in the world did your starter stay engaged that long? I know you knew you were going to have steady wind the whole trip but what if something had happened to the rig? Then what?
Anyway, a really good video that captures the essence of what long passage making is all about, and you certainly had an able bodied crew member!
I've lived in Juneau, Alaska for 33 years and have sailed most of those years, whether on my boat or as crew and I've done passages to/from Mexico on friend's boats, so I have a good idea of what it's like doing long trips like this...
Great adventure guys... well done. Dolphins are just BEAUTIFUL!! Thank you for that amazing footage!!
ОтветитьDon't go near Gibraltar, the whales there will rip your rudder off for doing that
ОтветитьTop video.i enjoyed it
ОтветитьRiders on the storm!! 😂🌊🤣🌊😂🌊🤣🌊I want to hear about the octopus!
Ответитьnice sailing.
ОтветитьWhat size is she? Year? Make?
Ответитьwhy not carry two starters, alternators, three belts, etc
ОтветитьI realy enjoyed your vid!!!!
Keep it up!!
Thumb+subscription....
Small sperm whale: blow forward and left.
ОтветитьAs a 24/7 carer I often daydream of adventures, the Canadian Rockies, the Grand Canyon or sailing across the Atlantic! I think I got pretty close to the latter after I watched your video.
Thank you I enjoyed it, a life on the Ocean waves! Tremendous!
