How does Pikachu count as 3 Pokemon? Pichu was introduced in Gen 2 and I thought that your caught total had to be Gen 1 pokemon.

This category is so cool; I'm a huge fan of categories that require more skill and planning than just "beat the game fast." Great video!

Any speedrun category that requires you to plan on your feet is going to be an exciting category to watch. Maybe I'll start watching some FRLG runners...

I kinda wish you'd gone a little bit into what it means to "not be worth catching" earlier in the video, but eventually I caught on that you meant it was just too slow. But maybe I'm just tired- otherwise, it was a great video!

Still thinking zapdos needs a bit more looking into. I mean its quite good for actually dealing with lorlei and the strenghts electric types have. I understand that mewtwo is strong but j sort of train zapados on your journey so shouldnt it be a bit more leveled?? I mean u catch it at 40 when blastoise also around that level. Its slow leveling sure it uses lesser moves than balstoise. Its wierd but cant we manip another master ball if we want to?? If we get the ball before silph co from the market lottery we use zapdos to clear everything till mewtwo faster and can use zapdos for lorlei.

Unless my brain blanked the part of the video, did you say any of the times people have actually gotten? Would have liked a section showing the history of the times and how fast people have gotten it down to and maybe a breakdown of the current fastest time.

My favorite memory of this category is watching Werster imitate Pokemon cries while failing to catch Caterpie.

Fun safari zone fact: due to how it's programmed, throwing bait at chansey actually increases the catch rate, on top of lowering the flee rate.
