Brother, I can't figure out where you're going with all of this, I know these videos are a few years old at this point. Let me explain, your individual videos on the 72Pro, you say I would recommend this bag, solid bag. Rino Ready Companion V2, I would not recommend this bag. Then you do the 3 way comparison video between RR, US, and that Preppy Bag, and you proceed to give the RR the win in every single category, and at the end you say out of the 3, that's the one you recommend, and you're going to "give away" the 72 pro. Now we have this video, which you start off by saying you wouldn't recommend the RR V2. If you watch only one of those videos, you get a totally different outcome and opinion compared to if you watch the whole series, if you watch the whole series, then you have no idea what to do or what your recommendation is because there's so many contradictory opinions. Super frustrating, doesn't make any sense. Semper Fi.

Yeti in general is great stuff but somewhat over priced

Hey Mr x it’s Harvey what kind of family of four bug out bag can you put together for people for 700 bucks? Will it be worth it or is that something you considering doing for people putting together survival bags just asking

It´s not worth it, whatever it costs. I can buy this stuff, in this quality, for 200$, max 300. Knife, shovel, multi-tool and gloves are trash, not in the real-trash-way more in the for-this-money-trash-way. The googles seems good but they need too much space. The water package is too small. I like the filter but you need 2 of them, 2 bottles better 4, and I would like water purifikation tablets for 2l per person, per day= 24l. The first thing I would put into this is a backpack and/or some jute or canvas bags. What is when you have to leave on foot, the box is too unwieldy. That are only my big problems, I think I can find 20 more. The only thing I would buy is the RedCross radio/powerbank/solarstation.

In my opinion it's probably cheaper to buy the stuff individually all uncharted stuff is made in china

I bought the go box because I like the yeti brand. But bought gear separately. Box was 250, I spent another 275 in gear and got way more stuff at a way better value.

You know what just as if not more annoying than branding everything? Hearing someone make a verbal complaint about it every single time they grab something that has that branding. Yeah the branding itself is annoying but for holy hell, get over it.

700 dollars I think wool blankets humanitarian MRE and candles would be a better purchase. Plus I don't have 700 dollars.

To survive 72 hours you don't need anything, since you can survive that time even without any water.

Gucci survival kit, surprised it doesn’t come in different colors, with the logo available in shiny metallic. I do like the box, and as you said, money wise and practical survival, it is much easier to setup you own kit, but “you don’t know what you don’t know” is their market share . Other issue is; I wouldn’t want to hump that box around if I need to move from the vehicle AND this only works IF I’m in the vehicle or maybe weather disaster, short term kit. BIG drawback is the water requirement when eating the “food” bars, wow… More issues but I get what it was designed for, prior Mil background with survival and field operations skews my opinion. This is an awesome review. I truly hope it reAches the right people who are looking for kits and realize it’s no where near worth it. Honestly, you give someone about a month to find sales and they could put together a kit extremely similar to this for I would even venture around 300 dollars.

I think its good for someone who doesn't know where to start. Once they get a feel for things and the research gets done. Definitely could do better build and supplement the one they have. As far as cost just wait for a sale.

Totally agree on price. The comment I see often is that you are paying for someone to plan and assemble this kit, which has never won me over. They plan this once and then spit them out on a production line, your buying in bulk and that usually affords you a discount. In my opinion you would do better buying someone's bug out bag list on amazon.

For the first time, I think I'm severely underwhelmed by one of these survival kits. Most everything here is stuff I can throw together from what I already own.

Love the box. I would skip everything else and build my own kit containing 12 freeze-dried meals or MREs. Those Datrex bars are great for supplemental calories but would be terrible for feeding a family of four over 72 hours. One good, hot meal per person per day goes a long way in terms of energy and morale.

I'm not to impressed with the kit because of the lack of water related items (more containers, bigger containers, maybe a second filter or different way of water treatment), the lack of at least individual "cups" and I am missing some moral boosters (instant coffee, tea, …) and some playing cards with some rules/ instructions for games might be nice. For 4 Persons there should be at least 2, better yet 4 flashlights.
The box: I think a box like that might be helpful to keep bugs/ mice etc off of your rations. So a smaller box + a bag might be something. Or two smaller boxes, one with the food stuff, and one that contains everything else and when empty could serve as a device to hold drinking water.

Got to love the comments "I could put vetter kit for half the price". I agree. Also you could cook stake at home for half the price you pay in the restaurant. If you can cook eat at home. Don't complain about prices on the menu in restaurant. :-)

It seems like a good layout, especially if you don't want to create your own kit. $700 though you can buy the Yeti Go Box and fill it with much better items plus you can cover your redundancies, which this box seemed to lack. You'd definitely want to add a few items when you receive this. I'd like to know what's inside their FAK. I didn't see a TQ and that would be the first thing I'd want in there for this layout. It does seem that most aspects are covered here though but I'd still much rather build my own kit. The Yeti Go Box, even at it's price, is a phenomenal idea, just make sure you invite a 5th person on your journey to carry it. If I'd use the Yeti Go Box for anything, it'd be in the back of my vehicle.

I have zero knowledge on anything survival and this is well documented and full with good equipment!

Is it perfect? No! Could I get the same with the amount of effort I’m willing to put on a “rainy day” item? No!

It’s balanced and sufficient for a noob to use it!

I honestly believe that yeti stuff is pretty indestructible. I got hit by a car on my bike and my water bottle was dead on where it hit and apparently it flung out into the air and landed on the tarmac because someone grabbed it for me, and it has a few scratched as one tiny little dent at the bottom. That water bottle has been through hell and back that's just one example that more so extreme to get my point across. Those things are tough.

I hate Yeti. That box is way over priced. If I'm going to spend that much I'm going to get a Pelican. That box just looks cheap. And there are no convenient ways to carry it. At least the Pelicans come with real handles and most of the large ones even have wheels. There is nothing in that kit that is worth that amount of money. That's all cheap crap. The first aid kit is awful. The best thing in that kit was the radio, Eton is a good brand. Uncharted Supply should be ashamed of themselves.

All these kits feel so gimmicky. Some decent stuff inside, sure. But overall, I feel like these serve a very small market of people who are BRAND new to this and don’t have the time or desire to do a little research.

Another advantage I see in your bag vs that box. Portability. Ok what happens if you have to hoof it. That box will be a pain in the but to lug around. You have the bag, with shoulder straps. Throw it on and go. Trade off with someone to give yourself rest. That box was all about branding. Yeti and Uncharted pasted on everything. Give me a hiking bag any day and I can stuff the crap out of it and survive a lot longer than that box will provide. Great, honest review sir!
