I think butcher would actually be stronger than Homelander if i took Compound V, because he's just the stronger person.

Butcher wasn't a whole lot stronger, and didn't use his laser vision until after he won... But he had the experience from fighting people as strong as him, knew where to get hit and hit in return.

I kinda like the idea that whatever power V gives you is the kind of power you want deep down. For Hughie, it's having the ability to get people he cares about to safety. For Butcher, it's having Homelander's powers.
