Great idea, question? How would you shorten the shoulder seam? Mine is down my arm to my arm pit, and the sleeve is long. Is there anyway to sew up the shoulder seam and in doing so the sleeve will fit also..

I found this video because i was considering trying to put elastic in a chunky cardigan to give it a waist. I purchased an olive green hip length cardigan, and it ages me 5 years. Do you think it would be enough to change the shape?
