I've been watching you tube for several years now explaining how the Three Gorges Dam will fail, will collapse, and will cause thousands of death. Yet it stands and has not failed. This gloom and doom scenario has been playing longer than the rogue Planet Niviru destroying the earth or how the Cern Super Collider will produce a black hole and eat up our planet. I've been a nervous wreck for more than 4 years now. Thank you. Can we have some news anchored in reality????

I was at the dam construction site in 2002 about 7 yrs before completion, awesome project. During a lecture I asked about the sedimentation rate and what was going to be done about it. The speaker had no answer to my questions, like it was something to be ignored. Considering the volume of the inflow there must be tons of sediments flowing in daily. Seems to me the amount of sediment coming in and settling is faster than can be taken out daily. This is certain to become a major problem in the future if not already.
