I might have missed it in the video but I don't think you addressed this, If I already own a recording studio LLC Can I just attach a publishing company to it? Like a sub-company type thing? Or do you have to go through the whole barrel of monkeys again? Or better yet, since I'm just starting out with my studio.
Could I just have my studio Collect all royalties from my personal works for me? This way it shows in the bank That there is some income and not a dead company until I can get going? (I think they review me at 2 years if im not mistaken) As a first Time business owner I'm stressed out that maybe I won't get enough going before 2 years. I signed up for ASCAP as a writer and publisher. When I did the publishing I put my UNDEF!NED Records Label LLC information in and adjusted publisher name to UNDEF!NED Publishing. Do I need to separate the two? Is there a way to do a UNDEF!NED Record label DBA UNDEF!NED Publishing?

Please get some formal training. You are spreading mis information. You cannot collect all of your "publishing" through BMI or ASCAP. (These are PROs and ONLY COLLECT PERFORMANCE ROYALTIES. There is a plethora of publishing royalty types outside of publishing royalties dear (i.e. synch royalties or print royalties). You are cute and professional looking but you really need formal training if you want to help songwriters. also... you don't "collect publishing. you collect royalties...".
