Going out into the backwoods by myself scares me.. I know the chances of encountering a bear or moose is pretty slim, but i also know my luck all too well, and I can never really enjoy myself. I am always nervous and paranoid, making noises all the time so any bears that could be around will hear me and I won't end up surprising them.

I grew up with a fire heater my grandfather would load 3 or 4 logs of wood in that thing and burn us alive I would be outside at 3 am in my shorts trying to get some air. I know it was hot in that little room. I have no idea how you slept in there lol. And you had a candle burning man shoot you better than me

For the bear it's a good thing you found the dug out instead of having to depend on a tarp for shelter. And get a dog, it will let you know when something (man or beast) is prowling about.
