Eh, I've been Demonetized since 2018, Whatever.

I think the reason that the 8 second mark matters is because now videos start to play while hovering over the thumbnail, and the video starts to play, so an unsuspecting person could be on their homepage, scroll past a video and see the violence

My channel was just demonetized for no reason no adult content was posted in my channel but it was just demonetized

I think that it also created a lot of absurd situations, there are a lot of social commentary, True crime or sometimes even history channels that talk about certain things that do happen in life with no intention whatsoever to promoting the behaviour but just calling a spade a spade. And now have to often tell at the beginning of the video they gonna use a set of alternative words just to get their story across. I think its totally silly cause you often see those exact same things mentioned on normal TV.

Gaming channel here. Yeah...99% of my gaming streams are demonetized now. Good stuff, so I don't get paid what little I would and my views get throttled. Good stuff!

nah because you haven't see this channel @/KPOPHN they literally just make compilation videos and add some sound effect. That's it! and they still monetize until now 😅

I have an important question for me. Well, yesterday I left YPP where I was since 2017, unfortunately I got a demonetization once but I managed to get it back a year ago, but YT makes worse and worse rules so I decided to leave and here's my question - did I leave YPP can i get Demonetization? do I have to do something else in Adsense? I'm making sure.

Took us over a month to appeal our demonization. They claimed we were reusing someone else's content which is false. We had to show them twice that the people in our videos were in fact the same people in our appeal videos. They denied us twice. Lost 8.6 million views for revshare. Super frustrating system and experience

My channel; was demonetized a few years ago, without any real cause. They ignore my requests, and ignore me on twitter. My videos are harmless, about life in South America. I don't swear, I don't buy subs... i just make videos. Do you know of any recourse?
