Hi Dave, another grand day out evidently enjoyed by both you and 'pooch. Thanks for sharing. I must admit the " I'm getting too old .." comment mad me chuckle... oh and please give Mrs G our best.
ОтветитьLovely images, David. I really thought you were going in the water getting off that rock! It all gets a bit difficult as we age.
ОтветитьLovely bit of countryside you live in David. Beautiful images as well.
ОтветитьBeautiful set of images again David. Particularly loved the row of cottages in the first set and the Strandline at the end. You certainty have some lovely countryside and seaside in your neighborhood to walk your pooch.
ОтветитьLovely shots David, but the shot across Llynau Mymbyr to Yr Wyddfa was sublime, a view I never tire of. I hope Mrs G is on the mend.
ОтветитьLovely stuff, love the beach especially
ОтветитьQuestion my good man
Instead of constantly hitting the shutter button and introducing micro movements why don't you just use a remote button and IR remote that's what I do with my Pentax K1 Mark II or my Pentax k70 The remote controls both
Good of Winnie to take you out for her walks; did I spot a 'gun dog' pose by her? Top shots, as always, are your posts done in Photoshop with frame plus shadow; very effective if so, must try. Thanks as always; keep on breathing.

I've really enjoyed your channel for many years now. I shoot Olympus gear also so we have something in common. From the USA.
ОтветитьWonderful images David, really liking your new video format, more people should follow you 👍
ОтветитьBig storm heading your way next week David.
Should provide you with some nice content.. if you can get out. Lol.
Great pic of the painted cottages
Ответитьloved all the images Dave , Also what happened to your van conversion did you get it completed ?
Ответить"Getting far too old for this b*ll***s"
Genuine laugh out loud moment! 😂
Hope the lovely Mrs G is feeling better.
Another very enjoyable video with some great images thank you Burt
ОтветитьVery nice images as always thanks
ОтветитьThis is good content. Makes me want to go out and take photographs. Well done.
ОтветитьCracking images and a nice interesting video, as ever.
ОтветитьThis is another great video in your new series. You really show us what we have to do to get the image that works best. It is never easy and involves a great deal of effort. Thanks for sharing. I hope your wife is feeling better.
ОтветитьGreat photos, but frankly I just loved being at the beach and ocean with you and Winnie…so relaxing! As always, thank you for sharing your advice and thinking. BTW I thought the studio video looked great too…if that was also your OP3 well done (it’s great outside, but I was uncertain about studio), if your OM still well done, very pleasant colours! Had to wonder at one point if the tide would recede enough to get off that rock without getting very wet though!
Ответитьanother interesting video again David, love the relaxed approach you have when composing your images except the one when climbing on the rock, but well worth the effort with some brilliant results, the image with the row of cottages was the cherry on the cake for me. thanks for shearing.
ОтветитьWhat a beautiful area of the world you live!!! I was wondering what features on the OM 1 made you purchase it? I know you are very frugal when upgrading photography equipment, so it's not a purchase I would expect you to make. I enjoy your videos.
ОтветитьGreat video,
Love the trees at newborough shot,
Having joined you there on a workshop a few months ago,and trying to achieve something similar,(failing miserably)lovely to see how it should be done 😀
Nice video David
ОтветитьHope Mrs G is okay! Lovely images...
ОтветитьLovely images. Do take care on those rocks if you do visit again in the snow and ice!
ОтветитьThat tripod balanced on the big rock made me very nervous! Far too old for what? 😄 Sorry to hear the lovely Mrs G is poorly, sending lots of positive vibes and best wishes her way. P.S. The other hat was so much nicer.
ОтветитьThanks D, enjoyed the video and images. Welldone.
ОтветитьIt’s always a pleasure to see a new vlog from you pop up in my Subscriptions list. So relaxing to watch, some very useful tips on composition. The photos look so much better than on Facebook. Hope Mrs G is feeling better.
ОтветитьHope Mrs G is feeling better Dave, great images as usual and good to see that MZ8-25mm lens getting good use, I love that lens
ОтветитьEnjoyable video. Great images. Liked the horseshoe image though not sure I'll be clambering over those boulders!
ОтветитьFabulous video some great shots there looking better than on SM.
I did notice that your appertures were raised, so you arent worried with diffraction affecting the sharpness of your lenses?
Top Drawer
ОтветитьGreat video and beautiful images. Also great demo of your mountain goat like agility!!
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this vlog David and the excellent images. The horseshoe shot worked , worth the scrambling .
Ответитьprynhawn da David , really like the cottages image with the moody skies, reminds me of my grandfathers cottages in mid Wales
ОтветитьI bought an inexpensive remote release for my Panasonic G9 and have not used it much. Your video made me realise how useful it can be for capturing waves. It has not occurred to me before that the 2 second delay, whilst eliminating camera shake for long(ish) exposures, makes timing for moving objects (e.g. waves) very tricky.
I really enjoy your videos. They are packed full of demonstration, technique and explanations of how you are working.
One piece of kit I always carry that's especially useful when working close to or actually wading in water is a pair of mini crampons. I like to shoot waterfalls and find them a great safety item.
The images look better on here than facebook.
Regarding the 'mackerel sky' shot i wondered if taking a two exposures, one long for wave smoothing and another short to keep those lovely clouds sharp might have been worth trying. Just my three penneth.
You can turn the pre-roll ads off? No way. Going to take a look at this now
