Ethan was by far brave, me being as tall as I am—I would have died in the doll house 😂 hiding under a bed isn’t ideal for me. I even died once in my first play through the one time on normal simply because I try to put my self in the situation. 😢

I feel like I am in the minority in that I don't really want Ethan to return. It would take away the emotional power of his sacrifice and his final reunion with Rose.

Maybe he pulled a Dr. Manhattan, and spent the last few years figuring out how to master his connection to the mold, and slowly learning to piece himself back together using what little mold was left after the blast. I could see that taking a solid decade or so for a person like Ethan... then he had to figure out how the hell to get back to the states with no money... Which probably took a year or so, then he spent the next few years finding Rose and he was on his way to FINALLY reunite with her, only for then to drive right past him.

This cutscene still exists after Rose's dlc in which ethan dies again so it means he is alive again💀💀

Rose is like eveline times ten right. Eveline could create molded. Ethan could technically be considered molded in a way. What if Rose brought back Ethan. The reason Ethans clothes dont look much different is because we dont truly know when this cutscene occurs because like Eveline, Rose might age rapidly. For all we know she may age quicker than Eveline did.

I thought that Ethan lived. Bc if you think about it, he’s basically immortal. If his daughter has powers like Evelyn, then wouldn’t she be able to create molded? And in RE8, it talked about how Ethan was a advanced type of molded, and that all things that enter the Molded have their DNA structures (or something like that) “stored “ somewhere in the hive mind of the mold. So since Ethan is a part of the Mold, his “information” is stored in the molded and therefore his daughter can recreate him as many times as needed
