Distributor not spinning on 22R-E: :(
Oh No. Distributor not spinning on the 22R-E.
Before this happened I heard a squeal that sounded like a dried up bearing then truck died. Now there is no such sound anymore. No violent clacking.
I hope it's just the gear, not the timing chain.
Taking out the distributor now. Next, I'll take off the valve/head cover. I have already labeled vacuum, lines and VSV's.
