When I wear polarised specs my rear screen goes black, do these monitors also black out
Ответитьso with the monitor...when i look threw the view finder..i can use the half button to see if im focus because it beeps... can i do the same with the monitor?
ОтветитьMy monitor doesn't fill the screen in photo mode only in video any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
Ответитьgreat video ..... one question no one seems to explain how to save phtos to ninja harddrive .... also getting a plain screen on ninja without serrings on screen being saved ...hope you time to advise me for my ninja to work well with my canon r6 thanks alot ...regards david
Ответитьwell done video
Ответитьlol I could listen to you
Say zebras all day love it
So this camera will not work when a do not own a camera with a LCD monitor right ? .. I have a problem, cause i wanna buy a camera with included LCD monitor in it, but my current camera was so expensive.
ОтветитьVery helpful consideration of when (& when not to) use a monitor for stills. Been watching content posted by videographers & trying to build a rig. Now I feel good to ditch the top handle & big battery & instead just pop my monitor onto my a7iv for tripod shots (esp low light) & remove it for most birding/BIF. Less is more in the field. Ty for your help!
ОтветитьAre you able to do a tutorial on how you were able to get your Sony camera to push video to the external monitor in the camera settings?
Im only able to get the external push while in video mode, but definitely want to experiment with recording video while shooting.
Thank you, interesting video! When you use the Ninja V just as a monitor try a V-mount batterie. If you attach it to the back of the camera (with for example a smallrig plate) it makes the camera way less frontheavy. You can even rest the whole system against the chest. Or you can put the v-mount in the pocket of your jacket. Then you save the weight of two batteries to carry.
If the back still hurts, I do exercises by Liebscher und Bracht. 6 minutes a day.
Thanks for the video. Unfortunately this technology comes 20 years too late. If I would use the monitor, I have to put on my reading glasses and I am also unwilling to crawl in the mud anymore. I rather wait for some type of Google glasses that can be connected to the camera.
Ответитьexcellent video. as always, BTW. thank you sir! Happy birding to you!
ОтветитьI use one because I can’t see SHIT
ОтветитьWhat is the best monitor for my nikon camera please tia
ОтветитьOutstanding Thank you.
ОтветитьMerci pour cette vidéo
Y a t'il un produit identique pour ce qui ne sont pas Apple
Version Android
Merci
Another great video. Very informative. Thanks Duade
ОтветитьDoes using a monitor disable the rear camera screen?
ОтветитьWhat could be your suggested lens on a budget for shooting birds and or wild life on the song E-MOUNT?
ОтветитьI don't. know if i missed it but wound all the issues you get in hand held shots be eliminated by using a shoulder rig and a different monitor arm?
ОтветитьI have cateracts in both eyes and would love to have a monitor. However my camera (a lumix fz300) has the hdmi port in the main handle. this means that it would be impossible to hold and operate the controls with the cable sticking out into my palm. Just a point to be aware of where is the hdmi port located.
ОтветитьGreat , thanks , just what I was looking for ... 👍
ОтветитьOn a Nikon DSLR like my D850 I do this with an iPhone or iPad mini with the SnapBridge app, wirelessly transmitting using Live View and you have all controls for camera functionality.
Thank for your great video
Do these only record video? Id like a monitor that can store photos I've taken in redundancy to the card in the camera. Only reason i ask is i want an a6700 for travel/birds but would also use it for more important stuff where I'd really feel more comfortable with redundancy. I haven't had a camera without dual slots since my 5dii. Could i just plug in an external ssd to have dual data capture? I've never had to deal with it but do like the idea of a big bright screen
ОтветитьOne question. Does it follow the orientation of the camera? If you do portrait shots(vertical orientation), will the liveview of the external monitor change to vertical also? And so with the picture taken in portrait(vertical) orientation)?
ОтветитьSorry if I missed it but I was curious what table tripod you were using? I like how wide those legs are.
ОтветитьYou should get a cage like of SmallRig brand. Tilting it down might hurt the hotshoe if repeated many times. Plus you can mount a trigger(if ever you will need) while you have that external monitor as you will be able to attach more.
ОтветитьDoes using a monitor put extra strain on the coldshoe mount? Also how would manage an external mic with a monitor.
ОтветитьFor flying birds, sometimes a dot sight is helpful instead of the field monitor. I use one for rifles on the hot shoe. AOMEKIE Red Dot. As field monitor (not recorder) we use the Godox GM-55, which is very good and helpful also in composition for still life and landscape photography. Very good YT videos 👍🏻
ОтветитьHello Duane great video very useful I was wondering if a monitor would be helpful for me after watching this I an sure it would thank you.
ОтветитьSuper! Beautifully presented. Thanks!
ОтветитьIt took me a moment to realize what zibras were, which points out the importance of linguistics. For instance, Pres. John Kennedy had an odd accent where he and his ilk tended to add an "er" sound at the end of words. Well, I surmise the whole Cuban missile crisis was due to them tell him: Mr. President there is a problem in Cuba, Mr. President there is a problem in Cuba, which he ignored. Then finally he said, "Oh you mean Cuber." Atomic war averted, for the moment anyway.
Very informative videos, useful. Good work!
Hi, can we use a smartphone as a screen?
ОтветитьSpeaking of monitors. I’m thinking of getting a larger monitor to use when editing. My eyes aren’t getting any younger. I was thinking about a curved monitor but have no idea if that would be good for editing. I also am not sure about resolution. Any opinion on that?
ОтветитьHi..I love the small Tripod on the table..can you tell me the name of it please? Also I am so bummed that you cant use the back of the monitor when plugged into a external monitor. I have a new canon R8 and it does not have the toggle to move the autofocus points. I now have to use the focus button, hold it and move the camera to track the subject. Not so great on a tripod. Can't believe Canon would leave out this feature. Great video. thanks
ОтветитьHi Duade, do you know how to to display on a R5 with external the electronic level & in camera focus peaking? These features are displayed in the canon R5 EVF and back-screen when no monitor connected.
ОтветитьI used the DSLR Controller app for my mobile phone. Its cheap and does a lot of the money. It also provides touch-screen access to the most common facilities I need in setting up night shots/ Unfortunately, it only works with Canon EOS cameras, such as my 5D IV and I never found a suitable camera mount for my phone. Worse, a monkey stole my interconnecting cable.
ОтветитьI tried the Portakeys PT6 and returned it as I lost the electronic level on the info screen on my Canon R8 - does a similar thing happen on this unit?
ОтветитьHi Duade. Thanks for the useful information. Recording the EVF is obviously essential for you. Other than that, I think it’s worth considering simply using the articulated screen, which is smaller but keeps the touch-screen and other functionality.
ОтветитьAnother very well explained vid keep up the good work
ОтветитьGreat tutorial.
ОтветитьHi mate. Good video. Just a wee question. As a survivor of a horrendous tumour I have some health issues coming up. Among them is some deterioration of eyesight. So I started to look at on-camera monitors lately, and what I require is as follows: 1) a much better image resolution since the viewfinder and the live-view screen are pretty much useless when I shoot on a 102mpixel camera. To be honest, I find it hard with my eyesight to check focus nailing (I shoot a lot in manual focus). Do you find it as a better screen for that matter?
2) I require to view the images on location and often times I shoot in full sunlight so I am unable to view the images through the camera screen due to the sun, and it’s even worse when I try to look at the viewfinder due to its lack of image quality. Are you able to view the images through this monitor, or you simply have to do this through the camera’s own screens?
3) Coming from Kiwiland, I find myself shooting in the rain A LOT. Are those toys weather resistant or it’s a no game in such situations?
Cheers mate 🙏
Would a standard monitor (no video) be beneficial for studio portraits, with the camera mounted vertically on a sturdy tripod?
ОтветитьVery useful video Duade, thanks a lot!
Ответить$600.00???? F*CK THAT!
ОтветитьPerhaps some potential screen glare when using the monitor also.
ОтветитьMeh. I guess it can be useful if you dont have a flippy screen camera
ОтветитьGreat video. Thanks. I got the PT6 last week after watching Jan’s video and so far it has worked OK. I’m still struggling with sun glare but it’s probably something I’m doing wrong. And like you, I suffer from the back, so it will be used on a tripod.
ОтветитьDoes the external monitor have to be connected to the hot shoe in order for it to work? I have an idea but it won't work if the monitor has to on the hot shoe.
Ответить
