This is one of the smartest designs I've ever seen for a tiny house. No one ever answers the question about where guests will sleep in a tiny house... Excellent!

Why not just notch over the wheel well.

Thank you for this video. Online suppliers are charging $500-800 (delivery is VERY pricey) for one of these beds with laminate finish. I live in a small carriage house and really need the extra storage. I inherited an awesome latex mattress in "Full XL" and beds for that specialty size are also really expensive.

(If anyone is wondering about sheets for Full XL, the length is the same as Queen, but the width is Full, so reduce fitted sheets width-wise by 7-inches. I just do one seam down the middle, and leave flat sheets extra-wide.)

i did this for my bedroom so i would have for space and people did not have to look at a bunch of stuff that i put in the storage and i love it

you could have buildt around the wheel well. :) so the bed dint have to be crooked - when pulled out.

Had you considered creating a Murphy bed that would work in a tiny house and would double as a sofa?

Great idea, but how do you secure while your moving your tiny house? That looks heavy enough to do damage if it rolls free while driving.

What kind of wood did you guys use for this project and what PSI did you get for the Hydraulic Lifts to assist in opening the top? I was thinking of building this for our motorhome and building it into a sectional sofa that was guests could sleep on it and I would have storage like you guys build inside:-)

This is NOT a sofa that converts to a bed. This is a trundle bed that remains a bed which you are sliding under another bed. Thanks for wasting my time.

I had a trundle bed in my college dorm room and had no idea what it was called. I loved it though, for space purposes. Now I have an old futon mattress and would love to diy one with that as the topper!

I really like that it is a real full sized bed...not modification.

This video is still helping people like me on very low buget. Especially now with this while COVID-19 crisis and without work. Finding scrap wood from heavy trash throw away helps. Thank you GOD bless you all for keeping it, free, cheap, easy and many blessings to your family and friends
