By the way, a hybrid propulsion system does have it's drawbacks. First and foremost is weight, which counteracts some of the efficiency gains. Electric components are prone to corrosion failure, and why it does fail, it's not always easy to discover the culprit. Skilled and qualified labor is not always easy to find to manage these systems on a yacht.

Not a big fan of those funky windows, but for what it is, it's beautifully done.

Thank you for walk through. I was wondering when super yacht's would start building a power system like the work boats. WOW only running one Engine generation power for ocean crossing. I've always thought that was smart. Like the WW-2 PT Boats that would stand by just running one Engine. Or just slow cruising with just one engine. Even though PTs. Had three Engine's. Only needed the other two for power/ speed attacks. So glad that super yacht's are looking a what work boats have had for 20+ years on vessel's.

Artefact has been docked in Venice (mid-June 2022) during my week’s stay in the city. You can’t miss it as it’s docked in a prominent position facing the lagoon. Anyway, we had the privilege of meeting some of the artists participating in the Venice Arte Biennale 2022 and the irony is that in spite of Artefact supposedly being so ‘artistic’ in its design, none of the artists we met were positive when it came up in conversation with them. Comments from the artists we met included ’, ‘it looks like a flashy Las Vegas casino floating on water to me’, ‘its an ugly ship in my mind because it’s a symbol of such hideous excess’, ‘I don’t see much beauty when I look at this ship, I just see another billionaire’s ego’. Ouch!

I love the Craft Room , that one thing makes you understand that this is a real home for this couple. All the light in the interior of the whole boat is amazing. I started out not liking the exterior windows - but became a fan.

Would love to meet owners because I am a huge sewer too...best consideration by a spouse I have seen beyond salons onboard... 😊

When I first saw the external view of this I thought it was weird for the sake of it. It’s only after this superb, albeit brief, tour of the vessel that I get it and all I can say is wow. I get it and not does it work well.

It's an unbelievably beautiful design and now that we can see the interior it's even better, just a wonderful project all the way around.

This is a beautiful live aboard home, not just some charter yacht and it seems like so many of the really big mega yachts are up for sale right after they are built, because the owner wants to build something even bigger. It seems that once you have enough money, no matter what you build, it's just never enough to bring you decades of happiness.

I like the hybrid setup but I would have gone for 10 times more battery capacity, it's not like the weight matters, or the cost. Very cool tour!
