I wish they copied the looks of the 458 also. The engine is a masterpiece but the looks are god aweful. It has a chicken bone as part of the design ffs. Change it.

Sad that we won't see many more large naturally aspirated V8 supercars, and certainly not anywhere near this price point.

i hope the engine doesn't go, that's the only thing decent about the car....after all Chevy can't make manual door handles that work on their vans and trucks don't expect much from their cars.

These cars are junk, don't buy one! The very same day I took delivery of my 2023 Corvette Z06, and babied it on the way home, multiple systems failed, and the car crapped out, and had to be towed back to the dealership. Catastrophic failure of the left front shock assembly spewed hydraulic fluid all over my driveway, transmission surging and jerking, front lift inoperable and throwing a code, AC didn't work, and the car does not respond to key FOB commands. The technician at the shop confirmed all these problems and then the manager at the Chevy dealership said it would be weeks before he could get a shock assembly to make repairs. Completely ridiculous and unacceptable, and when I called GM and told them what happened to a brand-new car, I got nothing, but, "you'll just have to wait." I've hired a Lemon law attorney to get my money back. GM rushed to get these cars out the factory door and it shows, no quality control and poor workmanship.

I have to say this Corvette Z06 is the most capable American car known. Like Nissan GTR, it is capable of competing European super/sports cars but at a fraction of the price. Unlike GTR it doesn't have the complex AWD system, it's NOT heavy and more. Even I'm convinced to buy my own one day but I'm concern of the loss of the usual American V8 rumble.

I could give 2 shits what people want to believe. The engine in this Corvette has been in development for a long time and it's not a fucking Ferrari engine. To hell with Ferrari and their overpriced, outrageously expensive bullshit. GM simply modeled the C8 Z06 after a Ferrari, for good reason. They didn't rip it off.
