Role of a Cath Lab Technologist

paramedic trying to be a cath lab tech, places hiring?

I am an International medical graduate. How can I works as cath lab tech? I already have knowledge about the heart, OR and steril procedures.

Are technologist exposed to radiation, if so what are the side effects and how can it be prevented?

Very good explanation. I also had a stent placed last year. My stent was placed in a section with branch and some blood flows across the stent wall (not from one end to another) to the branch. I wonder if it is a normal practice to do this way because if the junction is clogged (the stent wall is "sealed:"), there seems nothing that can be done in future (you can't cut a hole on the stent).

With the gloves you don't lose too much sensitivity during surgery you work well?
