Ok this is dragon ball but if we counting super hero gohan I am pretty sure he is current strongest saiyan and yes even than broly.

I dont want to be a nerd but in the official manga some prophecy fish says strongest warrior in the universe will emerge. Whole arc is about who is this strongest warrior. But whis talks about strongest in the universe might be somebody else in the end of the arc and next chapter we go to dragon ball super hero arc where they literally take the movie plot. Deserved or not I am quite certain gohan is current top dog in the saiyan family(at least for now, goku or vegeta might surpass him in the future since power levels are bullsh*t) and we will probably get a black-frieza(yeah name is weirdly funny) vs beast gohan fight. So that is a plus.
