I don't like machines so limited in resources.

You can't use it as controller and standalone in the same time, but cannot use it to control Ableton - unless in control mode????

If you ever made a sound design video for the MPC ONE I would love to see it. I have the MPC ONE (gold edition) but I even watch your videos for gear I don't own because you're a genius and I love your content and teaching style. Keep up the great work!

In order to add Internet to the MPC one you would need to connect your phone just as if you was using your mpc one to charge your phone. Options should pop up on your phone. Click on USB tethering. Your MPC one is now connected to the internet. At this point you can log into your splice account and click on sync files to download new sounds to your MPC one.

I have no idea what your background is or what your current age could be, I cannot wrap my mind around how you learn these instruments the way you do. Every single time one of your reviews convince me to buy a new instrument, it takes some serious effort on my part to grasp it! And even then, I have a long way to go!

For musicians for whom music is something that changes speed, gradually, has pauses etc...when do you think the MPC sequencer is going to be able to provide for those basic functions, like most DAWs can (i.e. tempo tracks)? Or is Akai planning to permanently exclude such musicians form their products?

Hey loopop. Help! I want to use the CV outs to control subharmonicon and crave but it seems the MPC one only delivers 0-5v and I need -5v to +5v. I'm missing out on the full range. How do I solve this!?

I looked at all the mps"s and went for the Mpc One in the end as it has a logical layout.
Still not even powered it up yet but I am sure I will need to upgrade the software..

This MPC pro UI is an entire Daw and multilayered sampler editor. You can literally design your own sound and record an entire album with it.

another very helpful video I wish I watched some of these BEFORE I bought the hardware and resold it! One thing about the MPC ONE I find the screen kinda hard on my eyes wish it had a "dark mode" or some ability to change the colour scheme like you have in windows? Does it have that? I doubt it but yeah the harsh white, blue and bright red solour scheme is kinda horrible imo. The screen is a saviour but also a curse as its large and a bit over whelming visually. Nothing is perfect! But at least the ability to change the colours and contrast would be so useful ! For the Eye Sensitive Cummunity.

Hi man! Nice video! I’d like to know if the MPC One has a mode similar to Ableton where you can launch clips, MIDI or audio. I’m looking for a machine that can be the brain of my setup in order to sequence all the synths + play audio samples, but I really would like to have the option to easily trigger “individual” MIDI sequences to play synths during the performance, independently of the position in a song or track…

maybe something I did when not paying attention.... The folder icon at the top of the screen in ''main'' is no longer showing. Any ideas? THX

Question: I was a little too hasty plugging the SD-card into the One without thinking properly about folder structuring and keeping things neatly organized. Now 10 tracks deep I'm wondering; each project creates a project file and then a folder with all the samples (etc) you've used within that project. After saving a project, will it stream the samples from that folder always or will it stream the original files from the original source I got them from on the SD-card? I want to clean up that SD-card, rename folders etc but I'm worried I'll mess up all my projects if I do.

Loopop, one question: which 128GB SD Card did you use with this MPC One? Wanna buy one for mine but not sure which one to choose, I've seen in some blogs that not every SD Card work with this gear. Would be great to know your choice. Thanks in advance, and congrats for such a great content you do.
