Thanks, I suppose, I was really hoping it wouldn't work, cleaning that bolt worked like a charm, If it didn't work, I was really hoping I could finaly to buy an electric mower from Costco!!😁😁
ОтветитьThis glitch is still working . Lol thanks man .
ОтветитьGonna try this tomorrow
ОтветитьToro is nothing but trash!!!!!!!!!
ОтветитьI need to know the model of this mower can I get the model number
ОтветитьOkay woukd start up and die so I cleaned out the carburetor screw... cleaned out all the holes but now it won't even turn over. I don't know? Any ideas?
ОтветитьHa Ha haaaha I just love these cheesy videos. The background music and just the way you did it. Love it.
ОтветитьExactly what I needed! Winterized my Toro last fall then tried to start it this spring. No go - just as you described. I was looking at 4 - 6 weeks purgatory at my local small engine shop. So, I followed your instructions and cleaned the main jet as you described. (13mm by the way.) NO obvious problem so I was concerned -- was this worth the effort? Put it back in and the Toro started on the first pull! Outstanding! Thanks!
ОтветитьGreat info, got mine fixed.
ОтветитьClean the carburetor
Ответитьwill give it a try this weekend, sounds like I have a very similar issue with my 20Y old toro pace.
ОтветитьThere is something rewarding about fixing an old mower.
ОтветитьThis works! Thanks
ОтветитьWhat did you have to do to it to keep it running? I have the same one and has been running good for like 20 mins then slowly dies. Let it sit for 15 mins then she starts up again. But then shuts off after 20 mins lol.
ОтветитьThank you, I thought no way it is this easy, it is, runs like a champ now.
Ответитьremove background music
ОтветитьWorked like a charm!
ОтветитьMine will start up, but only run for about 5-10 seconds. Assuming it's the carburetor and not the spark plug?
ОтветитьOh i feel so dumb. I took that nut off and was looking for a jet 😂. Im not used to small engines. That's an easy jet to clean. Also i moved that small screw you can see on the side since my bowl was stuck i thought it was holding it in. Does that need to be adjusted?
ОтветитьWorked like a charm. Thanks!
ОтветитьWhat tool do you use to remove the bowl nut? If I don't have it what can I use as a substitute if I am cheap?
ОтветитьMy Toro doesn't have the fuel jet, just a nut. What else could be the problem? The gasket?
ОтветитьGotta love how simple those carbs are, this model from Toro flew off the shelves and you can still find them everywhere
ОтветитьQuick and easy, worked to fix my craftaman mower that was sitting in the garage all winter. Didn't seem like there was much stuff in the bolt but it fired right up after poking out all the holes.
ОтветитьKeep on using it till it croaks!! If you were to resell it, you would definately need to replace that motor either with a new one or a good used one. They still have high resale value. Here in the Chicago market they go from 200-400.00 used.
ОтветитьTY man. Purrs like a kitten even with an oil soaked air filter.
ОтветитьWorked like a charm! Thanks!
ОтветитьWorked exactly as you showed, thank you!
ОтветитьWorked for me. Thanks much!
ОтветитьBrilliant! Thank you. This helped me get my neighbor's mower going in no time after it had the start and die symptom. Some wire I had fit through the bottom holes. I had to find a narrow pin to clean the upper side hole and the hole going axially at the bottom.
ОтветитьLOL "poke any hole you can find"
ОтветитьCan you make a video on how to replace a crankshaft?
ОтветитьDidn’t make any difference. Any more ideas?
ОтветитьTried this and still nothing. I've replaced the spark plug and air filter as well. What else could I try?
ОтветитьGeesh I need the try this, all weekend I worked on mine, starts and runs 15 seconds then quits
Does this mower have a gas filter on it? I was going to check that to but don’t know where it is
Thank you man! You saved me a lot of pain. Much appreciated!
ОтветитьI found your video and after I cleaned the part you mentioned in the video my mower started right up and worked just fine. I also found out my air filter was completely clogged (I’ll try to replace it). I cleaned out it out the best I could for now. Thanks for the help! I’m not very mechanically inclined at all but I will try with help 😁
ОтветитьWorked like a charm. Thanks!
ОтветитьThank you very much for this video I’d tried a few different things unsuccessfully and this one got the mower up and running!! Thank you for the awesome content!!
ОтветитьOMG! Thank you for this video! I borrowed some tools from a neighbor and cleaned the carburetor as shown in the video and my mower works again. I also replaced the air filter as I figured it couldn't hurt. ;) Thank you so much!!!
ОтветитьI appreciate it “Home Garage “ It worked great. My lawnmower had me baffled for 2 days until I watched your awesome video. Thanks again.
ОтветитьDumb video...awful music
ОтветитьIt worked perfectly! Thanks from a 64yo woman who has never done more then gas & oil fills. New primer bubble & this is like brand new on a 17yo Toro.
ОтветитьNice video! also i like how your experimenting with intro music I like it!
