MGTOW is something that's innate and instinctive within men. When you find yourself in a situation that is completely without merit you withdraw. Opting out is something that men do all the time especially when treated unfairly.

He's a smart man. He finally figured it out. I get his initial point to not scare young men about marriage and relationships, but when 50% of marriages end up in divorce and 80 or 90% are started by women, you cant ignore that.

I've come to a conclusion on why we are where we are in today's society and this is what I came up with:

Most men were raised being taught how to treat a woman but not what to expect from a woman. In direct contrast to this, most women were raised being taught what to expect from a man but not how to treat a man.

In our current society, this life-long conditioning has resulted in modern women who cannot comprehend becoming involved with a man that doesn't meet their unreasonable, unrealistic, and often unfair expectations. They were raised to be the "prize" so no request is too great to them.

This is why these types of women have such an unearned sense of entitlement towards men they "deserve", who are typically the top less than 1% of men. Their ideology results in 80% (and growing) of single, dating-aged, modern women targeting the same less than 1% of high-value men. When they say "men ain't shit", "men cheat" or "men are toxic", they're speaking of a fraction of the male population, statistically speaking.

In the event they do get involved with a man that doesn't check every one of their boxes, they use words like "settle". This word is used to avoid any feeling of inferiority towards other women who actually do secure a man in this top 1%. This word is also a great tool for deflecting any relational shortcomings.

Nowadays, the burden is on men to fulfill the expectations of these women just to keep the relationship alive, much less flourishing. This is why the term "happy wife, happy life" is so prevalent in the western world.

Once a man has reached the limits of his usefulness to this type of woman's desired lifestyle, she begin looking to trade up. This is why 50% of women have a "back up man" at any given time in a relationship, regardless of status, length, and relational stability (dating, engaged, married).

Funny enough, monogamous relationships are initially the desire of these type of women in the first place. This results in 90% of divorces being initiated by women for nothing more than feeling "unfulfilled" aka "irreconcilable differences", marriage or kids be damned.

The desire for a glamours existence and a man who provides nothing less is only exacerbated by things like social media, idolized celebrity lifestyles, and entertainer trends (yt, tt, ig) in general. Gone are the day of being content with a man who provides their woman with healthy children, a house, cars, and a financially stable household overall.

The new goal for these type of women, in which they will not relent, is a nonstop fun, carefree, and most importantly, "well funded" existence. These women are looking more for a concierge service in a man than a meaningful relationship with one.

They themselves claim they would rather die alone than "date down". "Dating down" affects the probability of these aforementioned goals being met in their eyes and cannot be afforded. With such a strong sense of entitlement, this is a risk they're not willing to take.

Dating has sadly devolved into a side hustle for many modern women seeking to advance their lifestyle at the expense of men who, for the most part, have good intentions of a future with a woman. This predatory strategy is known as getting "friend zoned."

The celebrated "liberation" via female promiscuity, radical feminist ideology, and the demand to have a traditional man without having to be a traditional woman has left a group of men with no desire to be used and discarded in relationships as a stepping stone in women's life journey (MGTOW).

In this day and age, men are held to higher standards then they have ever been before while women seem to be held to the lowest standards we've ever seen in western society. They feel this is the "victory" they deserve.

The things that men value most in a woman such as purity, youth, agreeableness, a clean past, and a sympathy and gratefulness for the struggles men endure on a day to day basis, are seen as an affront to women today. This means these values are rarely, if at all, offered or even available in modern women.

By and large, women, who finally choose to settle down after failed attemps to "live their best life", are older than they've ever been, more likely to have a much higher "body count" than they've ever had, and are much less likely to be loyal than they've ever been. Men are expected to accept this caliber of women as if it should be our pleasure.

These modern women demand much more financial, physical, and emotional security then they ever have before. This is taking its toll on the male populus, creating groups of men that see a potential relationship as a risk to be mitigated. This is reflected in lowering numbers of marriage and is affecting birthrates in the west.

Their attitudes have boxed men into a figurative corner. Either accept these women as they are now, risk the high rates of divorce, losing their children if they have them, and losing their hard earned capital, or live single with no one to carry on their name.

We've come full circle... Currently speaking, most men are discouraged from having expectations of women, and most women don't care to learn how to treat men.. This is the society we live in.

In my experience is you can try to teach men about mgtow but women are the ones that push men to mgtow. When men are truly ready to go their own way they search for mgtow =freedom .

I have a female co worker who is in a relationship but I know she is keeping me at a reachable distance just I case it doesn’t work out with her baby daddy. I am mgtow and if I ever get the urge for a woman, I can always find a friend with benefits as long as she is ok with it.
