Everything You Need To Know About Airport Lounges... Are They Really Worth It?

I’m still amazed anyone would eat any food found in an airport buffet before a transatlantic or transpacific flight. I’m usually hoping to just nibble on a few peanuts, while praying I don’t get explosive diarrhea on a 9-12 hour flight. I know there’s bathroom planes, but clearly no one here other than me has ever had to fart like a horse while using a plane bathroom.

I’ve had some pretty decent food at priority pass lounges although they are hit or miss. I’m surprised you said priority pass gives access to free beer and wine, as if to say liquor is not usually included. I exclusively drink liquor and every priority pass lounge I’ve been to gives free liquor.

DELTA is crap. Centurion was overrated, Priority Pass often times I couldn't get in, either too late or overcrowded. I'm defeated. :(

Couple points, if you fly 120k+ miles a year these are a must. As a veteran I think the USO is missing out they could charge a similar fee and bolster their donations. As well active duty can meet other veterans.

I don’t get why those credit cards are so expensive in US, in Colombia they are usually 0 fee for 6 months and we get vip access and other similar benefits to what she mentioned. After the 6 months, with a couple pf purchases we made with the credit card, we are out of monthly / annual fee again.

I've been in airport lounges in the US and overseas and the ones overseas are always worth it, but in the US, nah, not so much. I have paid for airport lounges overseas, but I would never pay in the US, especially for the price that the airlines want.

Piss tanks on the plane ,no tickets through the post,no meals on plane , no gorgeous air stewardesses, no smoking, mobile phones that automatically change time!!! All shit now!!!

If you’re using the Centurion lounge in Seattle, know it’s gotten a HUGE upgrade.

Absolutely worth it !
