Man Im not even A blender user but this tut makes me wish I were!
Ответитьthe video is really great but I am literally watching at 0.5 speed because I can't understand anything on 1
ОтветитьThank you for this. I slowed it down and was able to add fingerprints to my glass bottle. This is the first time I have ever really had any understanding of nodes. In fact I put some grunge on the cork of the bottle using the mix shader. Subscribed.
Ответитьgrid fill not working for me
ОтветитьGreat video
Ответитьit´s really one of the best yt tutorials I ever saw.👏👏
but I have one question: how to you managed the mystic look of the last thing on the thumbnail???
Liked and added to the favourites.
As a beginner with this stuff, the layering system can feel quite overwhelming and confusing, especially when you're mixing the different techniques.
Myself, I'm not a fan of the Procedural approach, in the sense that I don't like using Noise, Musgrave and whatnot textures. Lately, I've been enjoying using all different sorts of alpha textures to determine a material's attributes. I also paint using those alphas as Texture masks.
But the thing I found most useful from this was the making a mask to determine where those imperfections go to, as opposed to covering the whole object, as you showed around the 14.40min mark.
I've also watched some edge wear and dust tutorials lately and now I'm wondering how that factors into the node setup you have here. So if I had a metalic object with rusted edges, i'd have 2 materials (metal+rust), and the edge wear node setup would act as the mask. But such a setup normally covers all edges, so with the step you mentioned here, I could paint it in where I'd want. I'll go test that out!
Thank you for the tutorial, keed the great work, very detail and easy to understand.
ОтветитьI dont have enough words to say how thankfull I’m for that video i come here to learn a little more about glass material and i see there are tons of things and methods of different ways to get nice results, keeping the quality, well done my friend
Ответитьwhy are we whispering? :D
ОтветитьThis is the best and most helpful tutorial for blender I have ever found. Thanks for this :)
ОтветитьOutstanding! I finally understood masks in Blender. Thank you
ОтветитьVery good tutorial. But, sry, this voice-filter was making me aggressive after a few minutes. Had to mute and read subtitle.
ОтветитьAfter 3 years of using Blender, there is no doubt in my mind, yours is the best tutorial I have come across so far.
ОтветитьLegend
ОтветитьWhy whispering like that?
Is this some kind of a secret?
Sounds weird.
very good tutor. but why are you whispering you though?
ОтветитьThanks!
ОтветитьI am not sure as to the reason for the whispering, but the sibilance is hypnotic. Held me captive. Nice job, clear and concise. Manu thanks.
Ответитьwas it a bit late at night when u recorded?
ОтветитьCan this be used for things like ice ?
Ответитьawesome tutorial! loved the workflow for the shading and i will 100% do that now, instead of a tangled up node monster
ОтветитьThanks Lewis. Bloody amazing.
ОтветитьThis tutorial is a 10 out of 10
Fantastic job!
iv fell asleep and got late from work
Ответитьwhy do u talk like thaaaat, but thanks for the tutorial
ОтветитьAdded to "videos to sleep"
ОтветитьAwesome! 👏
ОтветитьThe whispering is annoying
ОтветитьAll the technics in one video, Imagine what if you make a playlist 😮
ОтветитьYOU BEAUTY
ОтветитьPlease have a less calming voice, it´s eerrie.
ОтветитьSo grateful for this tutorial!
I'm a professional still life retoucher, and layers and organization is so important to my workflow. This really helped me nail down a way to be organized within my nodes setups that parallel my retouching workflow. Thank you so much.
absolutely amazing , this is straight up a gem
ОтветитьI've been learning blender forever...and this is definitely one of the best tutorials I've seen. Especially for something as important as understanding how to mix materials/imperfections. good stuff! Also a huge fan of poliigon =]
ОтветитьYou got a calming voice, sounds like whispering which makes this somewhat mysterious but I like it.
Fits perfectly for your explanations and they are very clear and easy to understand.
Great job
That's a great tutorial, keep going!!
Ответитьwhat happened with your voice
ОтветитьWhat an ASMR tutorial, thanks.
ОтветитьHi man, I'm struggling with the overlay of my 3 masks(on beginning), they all do go on the same point, so I get to only see one, how can I see the 3 of the distinctly ?
ОтветитьWhy are you whispering it's annoying me
ОтветитьYou sir are a legend. This tutorial is at exactly the right pace with the right sense of humour. A lot has been learnt. Tip of thy hat 🎩
ОтветитьHow do I change my world view to your simple gray background? I'm not getting the reflection I want with some HDRI options. (im pretty new idk what im doing lol)
Ответитьcan you bake this? i would like to create broken windows for our game as a student
ОтветитьI am literally watching parts of this tutorial where I understand everything 100% from before, but it's still like ASMR due to your voice.
ОтветитьYou should definitely keep uploading (so long as it stays relatively fun), because you have talent. Give it 1 year of uploading 1 of these quality videos every month and you'll have 100k subscribers in notime.
Ответитьi learned a loooot 👍 thanks for sharing wisdom along with technical skills
