i see a ton of cx-5s on my way into work, compact good looking SUV with more space than the cx-30.. but literally almost neverrr see them in the turbo trim im really stuck between the two for two main reason, price, and mpg's. what do I do??
ОтветитьThis is my favorite car in the segment, hands down ! As an automotive enthusiast, you can't get better than this in terms of value, looks, and the whole package. Yes, you're sacrificing MPG for driving dynamics, let me tell you this car is one of the best drivers car for the money. Especially for a SUV. I drove a stelvio ti sport 2020 and it was the best handling , driving SUV I've ever driven. I went back to my CX5 and i was blown away, this car costs half of what that car costs and it delivers 80% of the feel. The handling is spot on, I'd kill myself if I have to drive a rav4. Mazda is so underrated. The fit and finish is better than the CRV too, great video. Thanks for punching it unlike other reviewers ! TBH this car drives better than the rdx , it feels heavier and not as nimble. Steering is also numb and brakes are even spongier ! I drove a RDX advanced 2021 model , also adaptive steering too.. but the CX5 has tighter steering for sure, heavier most people don't like it. I do !
ОтветитьYour sidekick choose that pathetic Taos out of bias =clown .
ОтветитьI was watching them blitz through Cliche Corner and saw the baby seat in the middle and wondered if the baby was still in there 😂😂
ОтветитьToo small.
ОтветитьJust had one for a hire car,sat nav worked some of the time!!
ОтветитьThat fuel consumption is crazy :/
ОтветитьC’mon Yuri, we didn’t need a full video for this. The CX-5 is just the sportiest compact SUV in its class and best looking, but has the least cargo room (but who cares). I didn’t even think about testing the rav4 or crv. And the 2.5 turbo is the only engine they had…..sure. I have the non turbo. It’s adequate. I wish I had the turbo one 😢. You did well.
ОтветитьDon't buy the 2.2 diesel. Very bad engine.
ОтветитьI also used with no touch in my cx-5 and I love it, it's safer and less distracting while driving
ОтветитьI have a 2021 Mazda CX-5 that I love with a much bigger screen. I wonder why his screen is smaller if it's the same year as mine.
ОтветитьMirrors and wipers are heated also .
Ответить"Whatever, not my car!"🤷♂ 🤣
Ответитьlol Push button trunk closing is a complete and utter waste of money. What a worthless gimmick. Actually it may be tied with "kick to open". You would have to buy a Mazda because their leases are atrocious.
ОтветитьHi Yuri
Is there any chance to see a review for your Mazda CX-5 after 1 year of using this car?
Thanks
I bought 2023 cx5 great car
ОтветитьWhen full time car reviewers buy a car for their family you that's the car you wanna buy too lol
ОтветитьThe CX-5's spaciousness and comfort make it a favorite for long road trips.
ОтветитьGreat video .I'm in Canada and bought a red Kuro edition .The back seat is tight but it actually has more interior room than a Lexus NX 350 .In Canada my car is 18k less than that Lexus and has almost the same quality. Canadian cx5s are made in Japan.
ОтветитьMe: "This guy...."
This Guy: "prove me wrong"
Also This Guy: "the bad stuff about this car? I dont care about, so you can't use those things as an argument."
Me: "alright."
This video: "weird flex but ok"
Cargo area is a little small for a family but I love my cx5
Ответитьbest thing in the video is the Toronto Subaru Club mug
ОтветитьThanks for the review. After watching it I went and bought the same car but not the turbo red with parchment interior
ОтветитьHappy with my 2014 soul red metallic CX-5 Grand Touring. Tested the Honda coupe, which was my previous car, but Honda had loosened the steering at the lowest speeds and I said no.
ОтветитьNo need nor interest to prove you wrong. I purchased the 2023 CX-5 in July with Premium Plus trim and Soul Red Crystal Metallic paint. I bought it for myself, no family, ninth automible I have owned. It was purchased for reliability and safety. Some of the features I am still learning to use and get used to. No touchscreen, no turbo in mine, a six speed automotic transmission (no CVT) and a naturally aspirated engine (no turbo in mine).
ОтветитьJust bought a brand new cx5 select trim in red and paid 30k out the door with all the fees and destination!!!
Ответитьyou guys have it all wrong about mazda listen the car is great overall yea, but the engine/transmission are extremally old now and they aren't updating them the engine is very loud and works really hard but the main issue of this suv is the 6speed auto i mean listen kids and women in your car dont wanna feel a gear shift every 10seconds with an 8speed or cvt its smooth but with a 6speed the shifts get pretty anoying after a while ofcourse not to you but the passanger yes!
ОтветитьMazdas are by far the best car out there. My first car was an mx3 and that baby had 300k miles on it and was still running strong. My second car was a Mazda 3 and I loved that car too. It had some electrical problems towards the end before I traded it in but it also had well over 200k miles. But now I’m driving a Mazda 6 and I love this thing. Hasn’t given me problems once in these last 4 years. I’m honestly thinking about trading it in for a cx5 just for all the extra room and how nice they are.
ОтветитьWhy does your car look pink on the screen? 😂
ОтветитьExcellent choice bro 👌👍🏼❤💪🏽🔥
ОтветитьGreat video. CX5 is at the top of my short list for my next vehicle. I agree, i really wish they offered digital speed display, heck, put it in the center of the speedometer.
ОтветитьHey guys , if you pair your phone to bluetooth , scroll to connectivity , scroll to 'TOUCHSCREEN ACTIVE IN MOTION ' then you have full time touchscreen ...you guys should know this .
ОтветитьIs the soundproof NVH good at such segment? 😊
ОтветитьYuri I have the rav4with automatic liftgate
ОтветитьI love that color but beware, I have heard that your color is hard to match.
ОтветитьThe cx5 actually has heated rear seats hidden behind that middle seat compartment thing
ОтветитьGreat vehicle, loved it and the test drive! Too small though. Not perfect for the family. Went with an Outback.
Ответитьidk about canada but here in the UK you can get these with the 2.0 petrol and manual gearbox, surprisingly fun for a big (by our standards) family suv
ОтветитьHad 1989 Toyota Tercel three door, two kids, one in a car seat.
When kids got bigger upgraded to the luxurious 1999 Tercel 4 door (not sure what side crash test rating was on that).
I think many would be surprised how adequate a small car can be. Used to take my son and friend to hockey practice along with their hockey bags (one a roller bag).
But good to know the 4,000 lb Mazda is adequate for a 1 year old.
CX5 looks best black on black
ОтветитьLove the car but you are not going to like the updated front crash test
ОтветитьJust picked up a 2023 Cx-5 Signature today. Getting married and needed a more practical car. Going to miss my Alfa Romeo Giulia
ОтветитьIs it okay to place the baby car seat on the center?
ОтветитьThis video is so charming and real. Congrats on the wife, baby, and house!
ОтветитьI mean... i have a 2006 toyota matrix and a 2009 sti and they do just fine with babies...
Ответитьthe best family car is a minivan. full stop. not even close. if you think i'm wrong, that's your ego and not me saying that it's not.
ОтветитьThe easiest way to say your wrong as someone whos owned a 19 and a 21 from new is rear facing child seats. The rear seat room sucks. Other than that, yes it's far better than everything else in it's class
ОтветитьScreen once you get used to it I can be setting comfortably in my seat and not have to move my position at all and make multiple changes Yes it requires learning something new and is different than your phone but if you're willing to learn something new it works great
ОтветитьProblem with the my Madza App is is you remote start your car, it turns off when you open the door. It should stay running when it senses your FOB like a regular remote starter. My Mazda app is lacking in engineering like the lack of wireless CarPlay. Mazda only seems to do things half way when it comes to electrical engineering and proving their customer with the best available technology
